Ummmm your dumb as hell for one its not cheating not every woman can have a female doctor! My husband knew I had a male doctor an he was fine with it a bit in easy but he knew it was for my health and was happy that the male doctor was easy on me when female doctors are rough. And if your a male you have no fucking clue what women have to go through with a pelvic exam! So you might want to do your homework before saying anything. And us women don't get fully naked we put gowns on and would you want a woman that gets herself checked to stay clean and healthy or a nasty bitch that don't? Their is a difference between health and actual cheating.
how is it dumb to not want another male to see and touch and feel my naked wifes body? the way it makes me feel is the doctor may as well as had sex with her because it left me feeling the same as if they did. i think it is bullsh*T to expect us to accept men doing this exams. i bet he was alittle more than uneasy but just didnt say everything he felt, and i bet he didnt see the exam either.
how do you figure the doctor doesnt see you naked? yes you have a gown....that opens in the front, and i know the sheet comes up past the belly button almost all the way to the breasts, so yes you are naked, buck naked, i think it is wrong

How!!!!!? Their is a female nurse in their with the doctor how do you think it's gonna be when your woman has a baby and delivers naturally?! And think about it it's the same for a male when a female doctor checks and touches your junk?! But I don't get but hurt about it because that's life you have to have pelvic exams as a woman for many reasons mane you need to grow up and stop being a baby and be mature about the situation! What are you going to do if you have a daughter and she's going to have to get pelvic exams to make sure she don't have cervical cancer?! Really dude grow up!!!

If he was doing it in a private area where the kids wouldn't be affected by it, I don't see the problem.... Why ruin your marriage and traumatize your children just because you don't want to see it? Good luck finding someone who doesn't whether you know about it or not. Especially if your kids are boys, at that age, they probably do it too when you aren't around. Sex is a natural part of being human. If you can't deal with that, I hope the dad gets to have custody....

Your own rebuttal says 1 in 4 US deaths are cancer related..... How is this argument weak? I started off seeing a female ob but when my husband seen how I was treated, we switched to a man. Yes, I said we bc he goes to 99% of my ob appts with me, back in the room, watching everything. He actually loves my ob as much as I do. He's very professional and has a great bedside manner. He always makes sure both myself and my husband know what is going on during visits and addresses any concerns either of us have. He has delivered all of our children and will deliver another in July. Just as she said, GROW UP. Stop acting like a jealous teen. If you are uncomfortable with not knowing what is going on, go with your significant other, ask questions. If the ob is rude or you don't like their level of professionalism then talk to her about switching, but don't be ugly just because her ob is a MAN.

i did not realize that allowing another man to fondle my wife was a sign of maturity.

also, on the cdc website i provided you will notice that cervical cancer is the least likely cancer that you will get, and that prostate cancer is 10 times more likely to happen, yet young men are not pressured into geting protate exams the same way young women are pressured into a papsmear. it is a scam and a ripoff, and i cant help but be offended by a male doctor doing this exam. i know that there a good and gentle female gyns that can do the same test, and hey, they dont require a chaperone even. its crazy if you expect that all men will be ok with another man looking and touching their wife in a familiar way, i think its wrong and i dont have to use namecalling as the only basis for my argument, whereas on the other hand the only defense i have seen in favor of using a male are rude comments, such as"grow up", "quit being controlling", or "your just jealous", where are any facts to support using a male over a female? i can support my argument from logic, from morality, from the bible, and from statistics. where are your arguments validation?

Anytime I have ever had any doctor do anything down there, there has always been a nurse present whether the doctor was male or female so you might want to check your facts. Also this topic is about a husband watching porn, not doctor's so why even bring it up?

mandy i agreed partially with you about this thread getting off topic...but your question presents another question...

what kind of person gets into the gyno field? is there anything wrong with someone who wants to look at "that" all day everyday for the rest of their life?

Somebody has to do it. I personally don't see how anyone can deal with feet all day as they gross me out, but to each their own. I also am terrified of clowns, but I'm not trying to get them banned & posting on every topic the evils of them. I could never work in any part of the medical field, but I have respect for those who do.

Mee...I wouldn't describe your distaste for male gynecologists as a maturity issue, but certainly one of either insecurity or short-sightedness. Surely you don't equate a standard routine medical examination with sexual activity simply because the patient and physician are of the opposite sex? In any other context, I would understand your discomfort with the interaction, but a medical professional simply examining a female body should not constitute grounds for jealously in a stable, rational mind. I'm not going to tell you to stop being uncomfortable with it, because clearly you are and probably can't change that. However, you would do well to be self-aware enough to realize that your opinion on the matter is uncharacteristic and somewhat irrational. Just because you say a male doctor performing a pelvic examination on a female makes you FEEL the same as if she has had sex with the doctor, in no way does this irrational feeling merit action or reaction on your part. All people have irrational feelings, phobias, and negative idiosyncrasies. Maturity and wisdom dictates the awareness, presence of mind, and self-control to overcome and transcend these individual shortcomings. Just a thought.

your response to mandy presents a thought. when i worked as a mechanic, i never wanted to fix my own car. when i worked construction, i never wanted to repair my own house. if i was a gyno, would i turn gay? i know a guy that owns a lawn mowing business, he has the highest grass in town.
just a thought.
how did we get on this subject? did "wooden teeth" change names again...lol?

if your 11 or 13 yr olds are boys, i wouldnt explain it , because they would have a fear of being adopted out when you come home early and catch them.

Well you are sorry. There's a word to describe men like you in other parts of the world..."Taliban". They hold to irrational, ridiculous notions of gender roles as dictated to them by their religious doctrines as well.

so because you caught your husband masturbating (which is perfectly normal) you threw him out of the house?...and now you want help explaining to your children why their entire world has been crushed. mommy and daddy don't love each other anymore and no matter what you say or how many times you say it, they will believe without a doubt that mommy and daddy don't love them anymore either.

talk to any drug addict, homeless person or convict. chances are they came from a broken home. so you've just killed your childrens self esteem and threw away your marriage because your husband was doing something completely normal?

wow.
