I would vote scott walls in for a job he is more competent to carry out, maybe dog catcher. it is time to tear down the crooked walls, and let teal straighten marshall county out!

keeping people off meth is a great thing, but everything walls gets involved in that makes the press is blown way out of proportion.

I personally cant tell that Walls has even attempted to "Stop Meth" in Marshall county. I think the situation is getting worse everyday. Marshall county NEEDS a change and now is the time for it!!

I know both of the men and neither one is qualifilied to be Sheriff. But since all this cyber stuff has come out you can bet I will not vote for Wall's AGAIN. He denies having knowledge of this cybersquatting business, but I do not believe that B.S.. The Right hand always knows what the Left hand is doing.

Are you kidding me, me and a buddy of mine sit and watched Scott Walls eat a damn booger in his squad car one day. It was sick, what kind of grown man eats a booger in broad day light. I am sorry, he may be the best guy in the world, but after seeing the man eat that booger like he was some kind of maniac , I just can't vote for him.

For years these words have went hand in hand - Grant & Meth Mountain. In my opinion the system is not working for the people of Marshall County. The system needs more strict jail sentences for the offenders. Arrested today and out tomorrow and if they spend any time it's not much.

Since it was federal grant money, as well as, tax payer money used for the car,tv ads, trailer etc. Then I feel that the money used on these things could have been used to bust meth houses and raid the dealers. I know that going to schools and such with the car brings awareness to kids but hello getting rid of the cookers and the sellers should be more important.
Scott Walls has been the County Sheriff for too long; he has been working towards Zero Meth - Good Luck with that. He has not done enough in the Grant area we are still under that "Meth Mtn" nick name. Maybe it is time for a fresh face {sheriff} that doesn't want his face on every anti-meth ad on tv.

This is kind of fishy to me, there hasnt been a post for almost 3 months then 3 days before the election this crap comes up again?

Whats wrong with buying a domain name? I have heard of people buying domain names of companies and then selling them to the companies for a profit. Its kind of silly to think that only I can go and purchae the domain name of "Rex the Grinch.com " doesnt it? I mean as long as they didnt put up a site that claimed was ed teals site then they did nothing wrong. Would Wal Mart be wrong in buying up land near its stores to keep Target from moving in? How about Walgreen? Walgreen is notorius for moving right across the street from CVS; in fact in Arab there was supposed to be a Walgreen right across from CVS but CVS had asked the city that a condition of them opening a store in Arab was that Walgreen not allowed to be built within so many feet of the CVS. So where Citizens banks is now is where the Walgreens was supposed to go. So is that wrong? Its just part of politics folks. Its certainly not worse than push polls or having recorded messages asking "would you vote for this candidate if you knew he beat his wife?".

News flash the Sherrif has NO say in the sentences handed out. What would you have any Sherriff do to be considered enough? They cant go door to door and search houses they depend on information so if you think someone is making meth turn them in. If you think Ed teal will do better you are sadly mistaken. The Sheriff can only do so much with the resources available.

It's the other way around.

At this very moment (10-31-2010) there are brand new CVS store buildings in Pulaski and Lawrenceburg TN, built in the last few months at the exact same intersections where existing Walgreen's stands. The puzzler is that they're finished yet sitting empty for at least the last two months.

Rumor has it that after Christmas they're stock them and open the doors, but ain't it nice that they can afford to build them across from Walgreen's and leave them sitting empty?

Anyone can easily verify this post. In Lawrenceburg the location is the crossroads of highways 43 and 64, and at 64 and highway 11 South in Pulaski.

Last sentence sums it up. Everyone wants the drug dealing crowd put away but when the subject of taxes for more prisons and jails comes up...no,no,no! Federal restrictions on overcrowing and staff have to be met so the lesser of the evil criminals walk out just to go right back to their old way of life. The politicians can promise us the moon and stars but few talk about a firm workable program to fund their ideas.

I agree with you on that! We need a new jail and its a matter of time before we get one the only question is will it be a jail that we can use to generate money for the county with or will it be a jail that the federal government makes us build to ease overcrowding. Scott Walls wants a new jail but the county comission is against as is Ed Teal.

ed teal needs to do his job and not run around sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong.
Would like to see some honest people, with moral values...not only in the sherriffs department, but the judicial system.
attorneys snd judges need to go back to school to learn the law and understand due proces

I will vote for Scott Walls and I will also say that Detective Gibbs is a fine addition to our sheriff's department. Had it not been for Mr. Gibbs doing his job more than adequately a sorry piece of trash who filed a false report on me could have had me arrested and gotten away with it. Fortunately thanks to Mr. Gibbs this did not happen and justice was served. I've never been in any kind of trouble and it didn't seem to matter to the less than intelligent deputy taking the false report that the person he was taking it from wasn't exactly an upstanding member of the community. As for Sheriff Walls, I think he was a fine chief at the city and a fine sheriff for our county. In my personal opinion he and his deputies have done an outstanding job attempting to rid our communities of the riff raff and trouble makers. There are a couple in the department that don't deserve their badges but in every batch there are a couple bad apples. However in this batch those bad apples are not Sheriff Walls or Detective Gibbs.

GixxerGurl,
I know who you are and we both know they might have helped YOU, but we also know they are corrupt as hell...Walls and Hinds go hand and hand. I've seen more corrupt and down right immoral stuff going on. The sad part about it is Walls has been in power long enough to know what he can get away with and what he can't. He knows the system, and unethically milks it. He should be ashamed. You want to clean up the town, city, county? Clean up the leadership...
