It's about time! That eyesore should have been replaced years ago but there was a disagreement as to who was going to pay to maintain it. The Fourth of July festival showed that the area cannot handle many boats and the plans should be reviewed on the current renovation to sit down with TVA and Corps of Eng and make the harbor big enough to hold a boating type event. As it is now, once a few big boats tie up, it's all over for everybody else. You cannot tie up on the rocks, you cannot tie up on the outside of the harbor or the waves will beat your boat to pieces and there is not enough calm water to anchor in. It's compared to a barge in a mud puddle. If we are going to have a harbor park, why not capitalize on the harbor? Why has there not been any more public input lately??? Are we just going to be handed an awarded contract and told " We, the committee have decided that this what you need and here it is,case closed!" Speak up people!

the only reason they are getting the money(there are much more things that need attention) is because of people who drink on the boats, have a business and a house by the lake and throw their parties. Its who you know in politic circles, if you want something done, forget the little guy that works 10 hour days 6 days a week and
I own a business, It's all about money,money,money
