I heard there were lots of moonshiners in Gum Log back in the 20,s and 30,s I would like info on this are news of the doing back then thanks

Hi, Annie. I'm not a native but I've heard from the older folks that it was dangerous to go walking in the woods because of stumbling onto someone's still..there were so many. My son's father in law lived here during the time and I'll try to send you some more information.
