I have a 2000 Ford F-250 Diesel. It was bought when diesel was cheaper than gas, of which it should be now, not $1 more. I had a taurus before it died at 200,000 miles. This truck is pd for, the tag is under $100 , I spend under $100 for fuel a month and my ins. for FULL coverage is $50 a month. think I am gonna trade it in just to pay more for all of that? Not all of us ride in these trucks or suv's to look like someone. We ride in them cause it's the only transpo we have and it's actually cheaper to keep than to buy something else. I only put between 250 to 375 miles on it a month. What does that tell you?Gas always goes down in the winter months because demand goes down. It'll shoot up again in the summer. Just wait.
The era of cheap gas is over.
If you have a pickup for non-work purposes - lose it.
Same with SUVs and other gas guzzlers.
Get a fuel-efficient car and join the ranks of the normal American society and stop living in the 40s.
