GOD Bless You Destin. It is individual citizens like yourself that REALLY make the difference. The U.S. government should be less reliant on this fact and
GET OFF THEIR ASSES AND HELP the citizens of the Gulfcoast rebuild their properties and communities. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for the problems that we are seeing after the passing of six months. Oh...and to all of the insurance companies that mislead their customers and are now in disputes over whether the damage was caused by wind or flood...DO THE RIGHT THING AND PAY THE MONEY THAT OWE NOW. To say that someone has "hurricaine coverage" and then not pay-out when a "hurricaine" destroys there property is ascinine.

On 2-14 our home was destroyed by fire. We lost everything except the cloths on our back. We are a family of 6 living in a 30' camper with borrowed electricty from neighbor. Thankfuly, no one was hurt.

Our centeral tennessee giles county community has been wonderful, givng cloths and money.

We seek any info on how we might purchase a fema trailer or large furnished rv. A call to our tennessee 4th district congressmans office was unresponsive and met with a grudging i'll look into it.

Please fwd any information to [email protected]

We are thankful and humbled at the help we have recieved and will greatly appreciate any information.

Hey,how about some more good ole southern bullcrap up to your boot tops. Who is stickin all this rental money for Goobers trailers in their pocket?Just where is it going? That land could be donated, & the Big Bucks could go to the families farther south.I`ve lived in Ar. all my 68 yrs,but we are gettin sick of this. Or give every Hispanic A trailer & let them take them to Mexico.

ive been working on pulling fema trailors and i tell ya what, its darn near imposable to get a job pulling them, everyone i talk to says fema isnt ready or fema is off till 15th feb. i drove the steets of Bay St. Louis the other day and in the urbans where damage to houses wasnt so bad and people still living in houses, there was trash and brush piled all over the neighborhood streets, Ashbritt is the contractor with the corp that is resposable for the clean up, i seen nobody picking up the debris, so i went to Asbritt office and told them i had 2 loader machines and 10 dump trucks and that id like the job of picking up the debris, they told me they werent hiring any contractors, question is why NOT? why arent they trying to get the stuff picked up, lots of folks with equipment just sitting around with no work, i think ashbrit and the corp has something going and not wanting other contractors helping to get the job done.
If you can transport fema trailers from AR to MS please emsil me. email address is [email protected] thanks. michael

This isnt the first time someone has brought out the fact that it seems Ashbrit and the Corp have something going on. What are they going to do when the coast gets hit by another storm and all that debris is sitting there waiting to become missiles! The government needs to get off their butts and start auditing some of these contractors.

On another note, If it hadnt been for a wonderful woman from Hanover Maryland who is the owner of Jernigan Construction giving my grandmother her 28 foot travel trailer as a gift she may still be living in a tent where her home once stood. Tell me, what is this country coming to when a 76 yr old woman is living on the streets because the government says she doesnt qualify for help. Anderson Cooper is an ANGEL for bringing her story to the attention of the media. She is only weeks away from moving into her new 3 bedroom home built solely by the donations of good hearted Christians who saw a need and met it with NO HELP FROM FEMA.(FEMA: Fix Everything My *ss!) I hope and pray that they will be blessed enough to continue with their work on the Coast to help the people who are being overlooked for big buck, condos and casinos!

Anyone wanting to purchase a used trailer from FEMA can visit the General Services Administration's website and sign up for a free account. Once signed up you may bid on anything on that website. You will need to visit the Trailers and Tractors link on the main page. Keep in mind to read the terms and conditions. Anything purchased has to be removed within the timeframe allowed or you will lose your money and purchase. Hope this helps.
If you need some help, or have more questions my email is [email protected]

Looking for a RV mover to go get your Fema RV travel trailer? Email me at [email protected] and I'll get back with you. I have moved Fema rv's for about 18 months now, and can safely and reliably get yours to you. I can gain access to 2 more trucks each who have moved and installed/deactivated Fema rv's for the last year and a half.

I am a disabled Veteran and wish I had one of those trailers to own
I just read in the American Legion magazines that there are over 8000 unused trailers that have never even been opened
just sitting in Hope
and they can not even give those trailers away to any part of the government
well I for one would gladly like to get one of those..I can not afford to own a home or rent on what I get
and have to share a place to live
I can get property to Put it on and I know they are that big..not much more than a RV
But being a widower and single..what else would I need

I for one am extremely confused as to what the government is tryin to do with these Mobile homes and travel trailers, i currently work for a tribe here in northern wisconsin, and as of now our government office is requesting feedback as to how many tribes have a need for these mobile homes located in texarkana, tx and hope, ar. Why are the government officials/legislation allocating these homes to tribes if there is still a need around the southern area? I was informed at the Last GSA screening in Indiana, that most of the communities affected by Hurricane Katrina has been taken care of, therefore the remaining mobile homes would be allocated to our Native Tribes in the US.
