Not any worse than other politicians. Greg Davis stood up and owned up to it. Now maybe the auditors will go to the Desoto county schools and audit them. Bet the big man will owe much more than Davis!

Actually it's much worse than most stories of excessive personal spending by political figures, and much more money at stake than a city the size of Southaven. I just don't understand why this guy is held in such high regard after such disrespect for Southaven. I understand he has been somewhat pivotal in doing a lot of great things for the growing city of Southaven, but how can folks just forgive and forget theft from taxpayers pockets? He has deceived his family, the city of Southaven and who knows who else!! He has not really stood up to anything- he was caught redhanded and tried to throw others under the bus to save himself... just food for thought.

This is what happens when you're in the public. We all gotta answer for our wrongdoings one day. Davis has been good to the city not that that excuses him.
