What DOES the City of Ocean Springs leadership intend / plan on doing to absorb this cost.

With pending Civil litigation and now substantial increases in energy costs,.... will the ultimate / standard cure of employee furloughs or layoffs be their solution.

This increase should not come as a surprise. Fortunately, it could have been worse - and could very well be in the future.

With MPC's successful track record with the PSC, rates could very well go even higher - when the Final Construction Bill is "known.

Once again, a Corporate / Too Big To Fail bailout.... the small guy gets pickpocketed once again.

Many many pay,.... the investor is protected !!!

This is Mississippi lol, what do you expect. Agree with everything else you said.

As for what will Moran & company & every other city do? Lay off people or cut payroll until they can't any more & then disincorporate or file Ch. 9 muni bankruptcy protection.

There is no solution. They'll gouge people until demand falls & then they'll ask for a federal bailout, & probably get it.

The feds should seize the utility & make it a public TVA type authority.
