the dads in pascagoula sold me a $962.95 sharps with a broke firing pin. theyre fixing it, but every time i will look at that gun from now on i will be sick. they told me i was lucky i got it from them, really? lucky i got a broken gun? lucky that i bought a gun and cant even use it for weeks.the place i used to deal with would have took it back and gave me store credit, thats all i asked of dads. the salesman dry-fired the gun before i bought it and i think that is what broke the pin. i have always been told never dry-fire a gun, i should have know right then to walk away.

I have bought many items at DADS. I don't understand how or why anyone else had problems. All my purchases have been great, the staff was knowledgable about their inventory, and couldnt have been nicer. I have bought many guns from there, and never had a problem. If you go anywhere acting like a retard, you will always get bad service. But I wouuld never buy tools from there, Just add $50 and you could buy them new.

Dry firing the gun will not break the firing pin, on the contrary if you practice dry firing enough, you can learn proper tecniques to hold a gun without the difficulty of recoil. There are many guides on this and probably a few youtube videos.

I have bought a pistol and rifle from Dad's Super Pawn. The pistol was cheaper by $50 to the closest dealer. The rifle was also $50 cheaper. Service was not awesome but they are helpful. When I bought the pistol, the guy helping me did not know the answer to all my questions but he went to find out the answer. When I bought the rifle, the lady helping me had to keep asking someone else on how to complete the transaction. She also sold me the display instead of one in a box. That is not a complaint, it was just funny when I heard the other guy tell her she should have grabbed a new one. Dad's can be really busy sometimes and it might take a minute to get someone to help you but that does not mean bad service. The same thing with not knowing everything. At least they ask to find out the answer. That said, I will go back to Dad's at least to look at Shotguns.

i bought one gun from the pascagoula store, it was a smith and wesson m&p 15. i wouldn't really say they were the nicest people i've ever met, but they do have a knowledgeable staff and quite a good selection of firearms with competitive prices. i will purchase from the again when i'm ready to buy my next firearm.

looking back i wish id have just waited until i cooled down and got my sharps back to post anything. they fixed it for me for no extra cost. i checked into the dry firing situation. my old .22 shouldnt be dry fired, guess thats why i was told never dry fire it. the man at dads made sure to tell me that if its not half cocked when you move the block on the taylor sharps, the firing pin will shear off.and they said if i had any problems bring it back and theyll fix it again. lifetime warranty on all guns. i am satisfied.

Dad's super Pawn in Gulfport have been wonderful, respectful, professional, and have gone the extra mile to assure all was well with the many transactions. I highly recommend them.
Been doing business with them for 2 years and am so happy to have found them. Dad's Super Pawn in Gulfport is our family favorite.

There is something fishy with this story. I do not believe that this transaction went down the way that lady from Georgia said.

I have bought several guns from there and never had a problem. I traded a Para Ordinance 45 Compact and got a really good deal. Staff has knowledge but alittle cocky and can come off being brash. Just talk through it, some of the guys there will chill and be cool to talk to. But some are just to high on themselves. For there defense I am sure they deal with a few morons daily.

Overall the shop is good to go and the gun selection is the best around. In and packing within a hour, not going to find that in to many places.

I've purchased a few guns from them over the years and never had a problem with them as far as that. I did, however, go to their store to see if they would copy the owner's manual for me so I could field strip and clean the weapon I had purchased from them since I lost the manual. This asshole asked what business I was in and I told him investments. Then very smart ass like, he said why don't you leave breaking down guns to a gunsmith and I'll leave investments to you. What a dick! I wasn't taking the trigger assembly apart or anything just field stripping for cleaning. Should I take my gun to Dad's everytime I shoot it so they can clean it for me? What an asshole. Anyway, I later downloaded it from the manufactures web site and have since "cleand" my weapon many times. It's sooo difficult!

Dad's is a business and like all others has problems from time to time. Smiths speed shop is now way overpriced. The day after Newton mike the owner stopped selling his AR recievers and guns. He waited until January and raised the prices over 700% above cost.

That's every gun dealer man. EVERY gun manufacturer is running back orders for guns/ammunition/etc.

I hear AR's are running for almost 2k right now even though they used to sell for like 1800.

Its funny because Obama doesn't have the votes in the House to pass anything, NOTHING will pass. Its all paranoia. And even if he did several states have openly said they will not enforce the laws & many local sheriffs said much the same.

I know 2 local cops who have AR's & thousands of rounds of ammunitions & magazines. As in for personal use. As if the local police dept is going to arrest their own. Hell half the Democrats oppose gun control.

Wait a year til the paranoia cools off & people will chill out.
