Everything is potentially deadly.... if you're an idiot lol. I agree that the ban on spice is BS. They're using their typical scare tactics to try and make everyone see things their way and to get behind this ban. The simple fact of the matter is that (on a short term basis at least) spice puts the average user in no immediate danger. The synthetic canabinoids in spice bind to the same receptors in the brain as THC. The difference is that THC only partially binds where as the chemicals in spice binds FULLY to the same receptors. Hence, a much more intense experience. Now take a teenager (or otherwise spice newbie) and expose him to even the slightest bit too much of it and they're going to have a potential anxiety/terror attack on their hands. And for those of us who have had anxiety attacks, we understand all too well the feelings of helplessness and irrational fear. Some liken it to cardiac arrest. The point here is that people like to make mountains out of mole hills and at this point spice is still a "mole hill". The only REAL danger of spice is that no one knows if any long term or latent effects exist. Well now there's a thought. How about spending the same money/manpower on finding out more about these chemicals instead of manipulating the masses into joining you're "cry wolf" crusade. We all know what happened to the boy who cried wolf :)

Hey guess what I saw yesterday. I saw a young man selling weed in the parking lot of a tobacco store selling weed. Thanks Gulfport! Cigarsttes have ingredients that have been PROVEN to cause cancer and KILL you, yet still legal. Alcohol can kill you and other people, yet still legal. Peanuts can kill people, yet still legal. Some people that smoke spice might just be allergic, as with those with peanut allergies. I wondedr wo's kid got caught. Doesen't Gulfport have some crack dealers they can bust??

Please read everyone..

I've smoked it 2 times.

The first time with 3 hits off a joint:
-heart was beating faster than normal
-I felt wobbly standing.
-My temperature rose.
-I felt cramping/hurting in my kidneys.
-My body felt numb.

I thought, hmm...

The second time with 3 hits off a gravity bong.
-Heart rate shot up
-breathing very slowly but my heart was beating so fast 3 hours straight.
-Temperature rose to 101 F.
-My body felt very numb
(I went outside as it was cold with wet hair but I didn't feel cold at all.)

I was so scared. I honestly thought I was going to die.

I'm sharing this with the rest of the world as a warning that it is not all that safe.
I'm a past marijuana smoker and believe me, it is not the same high.
I've never felt like this using marijuana.
Please everyone be careful as I'm reporting this to give my experience to prevent others from possibly dieing as I thought I was going to die.

Please think about this and be careful.
Make wise decisions.
Thank you for reading.

I think this is all BS, I've smoked Herbal Incenses before. The first time differs from people to people. I think if you don't like it an it scares you, don't buy it. Like alcohol an tobacco, you don't have to buy it if you don't want to. So get over it! I believe it's your body, you should have the right to do what you want with it. If you can sell your body to science, why can't you get a little buzz. I mean come on people. An by the way they should make other things like marijuana legal to. Like I said earlier it's your choice, your body, do what you want with it.

I was very doubtful about herbal incense. After reading a few articles and doing some research I realized that herbal incense is actually safe...as long as the company you buy it from is credible. I would pay a little extra but trust that the product I buy is safe. I have bought from these companies, who all have great reviews, and I would recommend them: www.codeblackincense.com - www, annasincense.com and www.incensewarehouse.com .
hope this helps.

*BE CAREFUL WITH HERBAL INCENSE*

HERBAL INCENSE (THE KIND THAT IS SIMILAR TO MARIJUANA) IS USUALLY SPRAYED WITH A SYNTHETIC CANNABINOID OR A SYNTHETIC DRUG SIMILAR TO WEED. THIS COMES IN A POWDER FORM AND IS BASICALLY 98% PURE THC.(OR WHATEVER PERCENTAGE THE BUYER CLAIMS; USUALLY BETWEEN 97%-99%)

THIS IS THEN MIXED INTO LIQUID AND SPRAYED ONTO THE LEAF IN A RATIO THAT MAKES THE BLEND NOT TO0 STRONG, AND NOT TOO WEAK. FOR INSTANCE 1GRAM CAN BE SPRAYED ON 1oz OF LEAF, THIS WOULD BE 16GRAMS SPRAYED ON A POUND WHICH WOULD BE A STRONGER BLEND. THE MORE CHEMICAL YOU ADD THE STRONGER IT IS. SO SOMEONE CAN SPRINKLE A TINY BIT OF CHEMICAL ON A BLUNT OR PAPER OR BOWL AND SMOKE IT AND GET REALLY MESSED UP. PEOPLE THAT USUALLY DON'T FEEL GOOD, OR GET THE HYPERTENSION FEELING OR OTHER BAD EFFECTS IS BECAUSE WHAT THEY SMOKED HAS MORE CHEMICAL ON IT. IT COULD BE A HOTSPOT (STRONGER PART THEN MOST OF THE BATCH) OR SOMEONE COULD HAVE PUT TOO MUCH ON THE BLUNT OR JOINT AND THAT CAN REALLY REALLY REALLY MAKE SOMEONE NOT FEEL GOOD.

THAT IS WHY IT IS NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE IT AND GET SOMETHING WITH SUPERDUPER POWDER ON IT, IT CAN MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM LOL. I DON'T MEAN TO LAUGH BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE PASS OUT AND FAINT AFTER SMOKING STRONG BLENDS OR SOMETIMES PURE CHEMICAL. THE THING IS TO GET THE PERFECT BLEND.

I DON'T DO SPICE OR K2 ETC. ALOT, BUT WHEN I DO
I PREFER DOS SwaggerSmoke.com

I would echo the warnings of those above about spice. Have tried it a few times before the ban and it was a very different altered state than marijuana, and I didn't find it enjoyable. I knew someone who went to the hospital bc of it. Before it was illegal, chemists were changing the chemical formula that was sprinkled on the incense bc as fast as the FDA was banning certain chemicals they were in the lab tweaking it to be able to use this loophole to remain legal... For this reason I caution people to think twice... Who knows what's being used.. Who knows what you're ingesting. Keep smoking bud & the natural stuff. That's my best advice.(and I am 100% pro freedom of choice when it comes to the consensual experimentation with your own consciousness .. That shouldn't be government jurisdiction )
