Keep drinking and driving and this is what we get. There is little enforcement and very little common sense by most drivers to what the outcome to their immature doings. People just dont care that they will kill someone just so they can get a buzz. grow up MS!!!!

The man Robert Wayne Burns killed was my little brother. I hear rumors about this being his third dui and second hit and run. What are the laws in MS regarding this? Will they put him away forever or will he kill someone else?

Sometimes, I need to quit Google-ing things.. You find out that you were 9, when your step-dad was killed... Funny, how when I was little, I thought it was a prank, until he never came home... R.I.P Robert Payne

Underpaid YES, understaffed YES, under-concerned NO. Every officer and deputy can tell the same story about the losing a love one or a close friend to a drunk driver. If they perform traffic stops looking for a drunk driver, the public complains, if they do NOT perform traffic stops, the public complains.

He hit my parents head on in 1993 and my father eventually died from the injuries sustained in that accident. Worse, my father suffered in great pain every day the whole time he was still with us. Robert Wayne Burns SHOULD have been in prison for that--and he would have never been able to drive and eventually kill your brother. I have no idea why he was allowed to be free.
