Well let's hope we will find out what the communist muslim has done is found unconstitutional and this ruling will revert back to the way it was, obama is not "King" he does not reserve the right to make this a law on his own,he could care less about the Mexican People, this is just one more ploy to draw votes, even if it reverts back to the old way this moron can say, Boo Hoo I know I tried but it failed.

He is doing things his way since the Congress is doing nothing. Nothing ventured-nothing gained. It's interesting to note that all polls show that most people favor this decision and once again--as is usual, you are in the minority. Has it ever dawned on you that something is wrong about the way you see the World? It has to me.

Hm. Interesting take on things: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Maybe that's what illegal aliens think when they flagrantly violate the laws of the USA. Well, no matter. Obama, like illegal aliens will be proven wrong in time. He knows what he did won't stand; he also knows it doesn't matter as long as that happens after November.

Sad thing about Dems; right and wrong don't have a damned thing to do with anything in their logic. It's all about the end justifying the means.

Here's hoping enough people see through the rhetoric, the BS and to the core of his act, which is bad for citizens, taxpayers and their children.

Go out in the "real world" and get your opinions, the staggering amount of money that is spent on illegals is pathetic.

The amount of productivity that the illegals are providing at sub-standard wages is enormous and with no benefits, no paid vacation, no employer paid health insurance, no paid unemployment compensation, no Union support, etc. Find me some Americans who are willing to do work under these conditions.

It is called slavery. Though in the case of illegal aliens the taxpayer subsidizes the cost of the slaves.

That's the whole point. What the employers who abuse these people are doing is:

1) Illegal

2) Unethical

3) Immoral

The 3rd is really not an argument, but illegal certainly is. If you aren't complying with the law in the first place, you have *zero* right to complain when the state steps in.

I agree. It's the employers who people should complain about. If they didn't hire illegals, there would be no reason for them to come here. Why take it all out on the illegals who only come here because things are so bad from where they come and once they get here, they do work hard. They only show up in emergency rooms when it is a life or death matter because they don't want to take the chance of being discovered and deported. Yes, their kids do attend public schools but so do millions of American kids whose parents are on welfare and food stamps so start complaining about the cost these Americans are costing us taxpayers also. For the most part, these illegals don't cause problems with crime. When was the last time you heard about a robbery or murder in Prichard or Mobile that involved an illegal--very seldom. Let's secure the borders and find a way for the illegals who are already here to become citizens. Obama has taken a worthwhile 1st step and now it is up to Congress to pass a comprehensive immigration bill which they have been reluctant to do so far.

Even easier would be to enforce the laws against illegal aliens, those that hire them and those that aid and abet their crimes. This would benefit American citizens and honest legal immigrants while punishing the criminals. Why would anybody be opposed to that except of course the criminals? Doing that would dramatically reduce the number of criminals crossing the border illegally and make increasing border security unnecessary because of all the resources freed up to concentrate on smugglers.
Instead of comprehensive amnesty for millions of criminals we need to start treating illegal aliens like the criminals they are and welcome the honest immigrants who are being treated like illegal aliens should be.

"Instead of comprehensive amnesty for millions of criminals we need to start treating illegal aliens like the criminals they are"

And just what do you propose? Are you going to pay to jail them? Are you going to pay to send them back to their country of origin? Are you going to fine them when they barely have enough money to feed themselves? Think it through a little and you just might come to the conclusion that it might be less costly to provide those illegals already here with a path to citizenship. And, to clarify your use of the word 'criminal', I suppose that you mean that they only broke the law by entering the USA illegally because most of them have not broken any other of our laws and have been working hard doing lots of jobs that most Americans refuse to do and which this Country needs done. for the most part, they have not raped, pillaged or murdered like a lot of our domesticated citizens.

Actually, the ideal situation would be to deny them any opportunity of employment and any financial or social taxpayer funded aid and they'd all go back where they came from at no cost to the citizens of this country.

Tell this to all of the produce farmers who depend on them to harvest their crops. Or, would you rather that the farmers let their crops go rotten on the vine because they can't get pickers to harvest them or, force the farmers to drastically reduce the amount of crops they plant to coincide with the limited number of American workers who are willing and able to work in the fields? Are you willing to pay a lot more to have have a house built, landscaping done, hotel rooms cleaned, etc., provided that all of the companies engaged in these and other types of work and lots in other fields could find enough ready, able and willing American workers to fill the vacant positions? Let's just give those illegals who are now here a work Visa and a path towards citizenship--if that is what they want (many really don't, you know), make their employers pay them the minimum wage, unemployment compensation, payroll tax, etc. and let these illegals compete for jobs with American citizens and then we will see who gets employed and who doesn't. That's what is called a level playing field in my book.

The produce farmers are too cheap to use the H2B visa program which is specifically designed to supply them with foreign labor if they can't find any US citizens to do the job. If they weren't such cheap azz mofos, they could get all the workers they need, LEGALLY.

P.S. Maybe you should check your facts occasionally. Only about 3% of the illegals in the country work in agribusiness. Let's just give those who are here illegally a one way bus ticket back where they came from.

Are you kidding us? really?
Why would anyone allow themselves to be taken advantage of to this degree?
Seems to me being treated fairly as well as being compensated at fair wages in relationship to the job.
Sounds like you are trying to criticize the american worker unfairly and even if what you are saying is fact it still matters little when you consider all factors involved.
We need to rely on American workers period and if there are those who are on some type of govt. assistance they need to get off and put to work doing these jobs but, fairness in wages and working conditions is a must.
Bottom line we do have unproductive people not working with no intention of ever producing and we need to change their way of thinking so that there is no excuse in the future for comments/blogging as yours.

Giving millions of criminals amnesty and a free pass to continue to violate the law while at the same time continuing to force American citizens on to welfare because illegal aliens are destroying the wage base during a recessions is a ludicrous proposal at best. At worse it is a conscious decision to force American citizens further into poverty.

So you want to award illegals citizenship putting them before those that are doing it the right way? That's crap!!!

Why should they come first?
Why do they deserve that?

How long have many of them been in the US and done nothing towards becoming a legal citizen? My guess..very few to none!

"Let's just give those who are here illegally a one way bus ticket back where they came from."

Don't include me--you want to give a few million illegals a one-way bus ticket back to where they came from then you buy the tickets. And, for all of the illegals who came from places not accessed by bus, then you can also pay for the plane or boat tickets back home. If you are so concerned and generous then git'r done!
