This goes out to anyone working as a security guard or if you are hiring/contracting with security guards.
Did you know that state certified training and a license is required, even for unarmed guards?
I have come to find out that VERY FEW security guards in our area are licensed.
Here is a link to apply for a license from the state.

The "asrb" in the link stands for Alabama Security Regulatory Board.
