It's your land, expand at will. Economic downturn? Has anyone been to Cache Creek lately? No body is winning and the place is packed. Something else is going on here.

I thought the Injuns were so into the environment. If they build more, won't this piss off the Great Spirit?

I don't know about The Great Spirit, but it would certainly piss me off. Everywhere you go now, every 30 miles it seems, you gotta put up with big ugly signs about the casino up the road or over the rise. I guess it's not about the land and their freedom, its about The Almighty Dollar.

Those signs are called billboards and they are used by Nevada casinos as well...do they make you mad too or are you just biased against the Native American Casinos? These tribes are doing what every American has the right to do in a democratic, capitalistic society...make money, legally. Their ancestors were run off and killed off of their native lands and now you got a problem with their billboards? Move on lady, move on.

OH BOO HOO! I guess starting regular businesses that THEY have to work at, instead of hiring Asians, Mexicans, Whites, and other immigrants was just too damn difficult now wasn't it. Sitting around their Tee-Pee's smoking peyote was a much better way to live crying about the old days and how bad they got screwed.

Well, let's all get together and joined the Pity Party. BOO HOO! BOO HOO!

BTW, I have Indian ancestry and I won't let it hold me back.

They do work at their casinos in various capacities. Most regular businesses hire Asians, Mexicans and whites to work at them too (See WalMart, Target, Nugget Markets, etc). As for sitting around in crying about the old days...yeah, not so much. It's called moving on from the pain of the past. Native Americans own and operate many farms, ranches and other business ventures throughout California, as well as being state and local politicians. Trust me, no one is asking for a pity party, just a little education for the folks like yourself. I'm proud of my Native American ancestry and happy for all Native Americans making ends meet any way they can.

With rare exception, every N-A politician is a Liberal whiner. Yes. Many farms and ranches are owned by N-A's, but are handled by hired hands and when tribal members are needed to work those ventures, they are nowhere to be found. I know this from first hand experience. "WalMart, Target, Nugget Markets, etc" as you mention are NOT tribal ventures and the tribes associated ought to play a greater empoyment role than they do and that is my point. When I see non-Idians as CEO's and other top executives of some of the largest casinos, I stop and wonder what is going on. That's all.

If you don't think I don't care, think again.

Try Enzite. If you can't have a bigger tee-pee, you might as well have a bigger .....
