Sad. These tractor trailers rarely go under 65 mph and are very, very dangerous. If a tractor trailer is found to be involved in this accident this would be the 2nd tractor-trailer hit and run with a death involved in this past week within 45 miles of each other. Why are they never ticketed? I personally know of two Yolo County smaller trucking outfits that to save on insuring its drivers, will hire drivers that are unlicensed an uninsured. Licenses lost because of DUI's. 20 yrs ago but most likely continued if not busted. Snall cubed hay bales, rice hulls, tomatos. Mostly tomatos during harvest. These trucks need to be stopped an ticketed. They are also overweight and bypass scales. It gets woese and wose daily. Since they don't get ticketed at 60, 65, 70 mph then I should not get ticketed at 75, 80, 85 mph. If you get a speeding ticket look around. They probably passed a speeding big rig to ticket you.

sad story. Hate to say it, but he was probably a stubborn old man who knew better, or, even worse, had medical problems and couldn't, for some reason, wear the seat belt. In that case, he probably would have been better in the back seat. All in all, a sad story.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
