Yea and if they would have shot the intruders they would have been jailed, so what is a person to do?

Could it be, could it be, those handguns stolen from Keystone Country Store showing up.

Who would have guessed that would happen?

I knew this would be coming, yea that wouldn't have been smart, shooting intruders when there are at least 4 of them and they are armed. We would have been looking at 3 dead residents and what maybe one dead scum bag, 2?. Your best bet is to cooperate and give them what they want.

Also, FYI if they have guns and you respond with a gun as long as they are not shot in the back while retreating it would be justifiable homicide.

Looks like Keystone can't lose, they get insurance money every time guns are stolen from their glass cases and then sell guns to scared homeowners when the stolen guns are presumably used for holdups.

They should have a lot of customers this weekend, people who just don't get it.

Assault weapons are still legal. I could drop all 4 of them before they get a shot off.

exactly, why did they just take money and how did they know there was money in the home?
rumor has it there is more to this story. I hope they'll be able to get their life back in order, you're suppose to be safe in your own home! May the creeps that did this be caught.

I pray that peace comes over this family as they deal with this traumatizing event. I think that they will suffer for years .... going to bed at night and reliving the whole thing over in their minds time after time. Again, I pray that they find peace and that the intruders are caught and punished. Cove Gap is such a little quaint place ... unbelievable that something so horrific could happen. I guess none of us are truly safe .... maybe it's time to buy an alarm system.

Years ago, my apartment was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of electronics and personal items were stolen. After coming home to that, I never felt safe in that apartment again. I can't image what they are going through. Praying that they stay strong and for normalcy.

HH,
That may be your response to criminals threatening your life, but I'm afraid the ol' 12 gauge might see a little action when they come through my doors or windows.

I'll take a manslaughter charge over a bullet to the back of my head anyday!

I know this family. They are just normal, hardworking people. Probably if the creeps would have rung the doorbell and asked for money, Paul and Sharon would have given them their last cent. These thugs stole far more than money, they stole this family's sense of security and well-being. My prayer is that they are caught quickly and brought to justice. Justice being 25-30 years without parole.

Yep - Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aquarius

Be careful now, because you could easily give someone the wrong impression and not even know that you're doing it. This is most likely to happen if you're trying to pussy-foot around them or avoid offending them, because that's when things could get lost in translation. You also have a tendency to sit on the fence now, which could make you seem slightly untrustworthy or shifty if you aren't careful.
