Wow...........I don't think of him as a over the road truck driver. Maybe if he travel from coast to coast. Anybody can travel that distance with out any accidents.

C'mon now, don't hate on the guy.

Besides, I don't think 'anybody' can travel that distance without accidents ~ we have people that stay in county and get into trouble.

Grats to Mr Lesh for being an actual professional driver and not just someone paid to drive.

Come on now Concerned Citizen. Haven't you been reading the articles in the PO? Every day there are at least 3 accidents listed. Most of them are just day to day drivers. Anyone that can drive for one million miles without any kind of accident deserves to be applauded. It is not an easy feat. Congratulations Shawn! You should be very proud of yourself for reaching such a milestone. As another poster said, I hope you reach the 2 million mile mark. Good work!

First of all, Concern Citizen, we CONCERNED Citizens are concerned about your use of the English language.

Second, that 1,000,000 miles from Greencastle to Roanoke equates to over 2,100 trips. Have you made 2,100 regular trips to ANYWHERE but the refrigerator over the past 13 years?

Way to go Shawn. You should be extremely proud of your accomplishment.
However,For all the other people out there who are always posting their negative comments on this forum, regardless of what the posting is about; you should keep such comments to yourself.
If that is all this forum if to be used for, the Public opinion should discontinue it.
I usally don't even read it because I have found if I go there, it is going to be mainly derogative comments putting the character of people down.
Where has the media & news gone anyway? Is it news or slander & gossip.
Shame on the P.O. newspaper. Maybe you should reconsider what you allow here & do some editing!!!!!!!

Outstanding job Shawn!!!! If only you could give lessons to some of the local idiots around here that can't drive three miles much less a million without taking off a porch, running over a kid, a mailbox or crossing into oncoming traffic and killing someone? Pleeze???? They're getting worse.

I am 64 and I figured I only have driven about 775,000 miles so far. The last accident was about 770,000 miles ago and I hope that was my last one.
