The water never was turned off , it was due to low pressure that makes it seem that you dont have any water . and yes it may be 3 days to a week before everyone is back in water and the psa is at full blast again. it is true that untill the psa gets power back at there main stations they can not pump anywhere else . so everyone will that is on the psa water will be having the same problems the water will come and go a little more each day untill everything is what it was before the storm. And please understand its not as easy as going to the phone a calling over to the dam and saying we need some water! lol, there is alot of work involved in keeping up a water system and when it is all but dry its going to take time to get it back up, so please try and understand. and one more thing when water is restored at your house or area know this the health dept. has issued a boil water notice for the first few days on any water you plan on drinking just for precaution.

We should all be glad we have so many utility workers here from several states. They are working very hard to help us. Maybe we could say a prayer for all the hard working people who are here with us instead of spending Christman with their families. I appreciate all of them and pray they are kept safe.

Where does Oakwoods water come from? Some places in Oakwood has water. What is the PSA doing to help the situation? PSA hasn't been answering the telephone...I think it's their job to tell ppl what's going on. When I've had to call before all this, they are really hateful and short!! Are they being paid if they aren't keeping the office open? Just trying to understand somethings.

No they are NOT sending the workers home to spend Christmas with their families they are gonna stay here and work on the power lines and cut trees out of the way so we can spend a nice warm Christmas with our families.I don't know why they would want to spend the holidays away from their families to help out a bunch of people like I have seen for the past few days the guys are working around the clock repairing power lines and cutting trees out of they way and I for one REALLY APPRECIATE what they are doing and I want to say thanks and God Bless you all

Food City has water because they have their own water storage tank and they will be serving Christmas dinner to ALL THE WORKERS WHO HAVE LEFT THEIR FAMILIES TO HELP US!!!We should be grateful that we are in our homes with our families on Christmas...with or without power/water! Thank you to everyone who is trying to help!

Water is on its way as of this morning coming from the JFR . Filling the tanks is a slow process . they have to be filled slowly to prevent damage to the lines from compressed air ..service is slowly being restored by Sunday most all water should be back.

I have a brother-in-law there and he will be working until everyone gets power. That means missing CHRISTmas with his wife and new baby. We are hoping that they can get everyone power soon so these guys can come home. Merry CHRISTmas from South GA!
