does anyone have any opinions on the nursing home? well i do, the CNA's and Nurses and Office Workers, most of them need an attitude check, they're stuck up and they treat their residents like they're no better than the dirt on their shoes, they need to be more respectful and watch what they do cause well, karma is a bitch

Heritage Hall Sucks.. i am a LPN an i worked worked there for over 20 years. the front office treats you like crap.. an once you have been there for a long time. they start looking for ways to fire you so you dont retire with them.. all most nurses do is paperwork an pills..no time to do actual nursing. an theres noone to go to if you do have a problem. the front office doesnt care at all.

It's a real shame the way a lot of the patients are treated there. My grandfather was there for about 2 weeks and ended up losing around 20 pounds.(I bought dinner up EVERY night!) The food is terrible. I would be ashamed to give that to anyone. Thanksgiving dinner was a bologna sandwich. I bought my grandpa dinner from our house, but I felt so sorry for all of the other's who didn't have anyone to bring them something. Hertiage Hall needed to have done something for the residents. I'm sure it would have lifted a lot of their spirits.

I would get so angry every day after work when I would go to visit my grandpa and he would need to go to the restroom. Instead of them trying to help him get up and get around (which was the reason he was there to begin with) they gave him a bed pan. They would leave him on the bed pan and go off for a half hour to an hour. The smell of urine when you walk in is overpowering, and after knowing what my own grandfather experienced there I can see why.

I think that someone from the state needs to come in and clean house and get rid of all the bad employees. There were a couple who were very kind and caring, but the majority needs to fired! Especially whoever is in charge! I can't believe can't whoever is over the facility would let things get so bad there.

i worked there for a little while but it broke my heart to do it anymore i just cleaned that was all i was getting paid for but i would have to run after the nurise for the people in there cause they wouldn't do anything for them im not saying all of them but the ones when i worked there a man that couldn't walk was about to poop all over his self and i tryed to for 10min to get somone one to help him i had to end up helping him myself and i could have got into a lot of trouble for that its just not right most of them dont care a thing about them old people and thats when they need them the most they are not able to do for themselfs thats why they are there but they act like they are just trash wainting to be took out its so sad

CNA'S is the hardest working people that they are and the lowest paid. A CNA should get any where from 15 to 20 dollars an hour for the nasty job that they have to do,, now if the pay was higher than just 8 dollars then there would be a lot more people willing to work....and as for LPN'S what do they do compared to a CNA???? Just think about it !!!!

I'm betting they are the lowest paid because they have the least education. An LPN has to be in school longer and they paid out more for their education. If a CNA wants to be paid more they should become a LPN. Just think about it!!!!

that may be a good point well.. but some people cant afford t go on to more school.. or couldnt at the time.. an now they are trying to support themselves or their familes.. an i personally think they do deserve more pay..

lol, I agree that they deserve more pay and I know they work hard. Saying that their stuck in that job because they have a family to raise or can't afford to go back to school is an excuse, and I can't stand to hear someone who complains about their situation, but does nothing to improve it. There are always student loans and night class. I know that going to school with a family can make life VERY difficult, but isn't it worth it when a person is able to provide a little more for their family?

i am just curious, but what does getting paid have to do with a human life being deteriorated because of NEGLECT???
i think the ones who think they are so high and mighty that they deserve more SHOULD be fired and then have to lick boots on the way up!
what goes around comes around, so tuff stuff for you if you are ever one day stuck in an old folks home and have to endure this treatment.
i have heard many a story and seen things too that tear my heart out.
if i was the boss, i would be riding their a$$e$, not kissing it!!!!!!!
to the ones who don't give a damn and that work there, someone IS watching: that would be God! can't wait to see you stand before him and try to play it off! Good luck with that!
take your dollars people, and go make sense of it. i would do it for free just so people wouldn't have to suffer. its called helping man kind. but i guess it doesn't matter if man isn't so kind, now is it?
thats what i thought, most a$$hole$ are only in it for the money anyway.
Thank God for the few people who work there that are sent from Heaven above.
really, GOD is watching!!!!

my cussin was looking at this and i had to comment i have never comment on stuff but this got to me so i made her fix an account so i could comment
Most of the CNA's and LPN's work hard and do care. i worked at H.H for awile but its been like 3 yrs. I was an LPN The CNA's do work hard and most of the LPN's do also I could not handle the job thats the reason i did not go take my Exam thay are alot of stress and i could not handle knowing i could kill some 1 with 1 mistake and i did not fell that i was as careing as i should be but i worked with some of the most careing girls to compare my self to and i could not stand telling the CNA's that had been thair 4ever and i felt knew more about the residents then i did to do something I also got married and now i dont have to work. thay are a few LPN's that realy care about the residents like ashley d and missy m and i am sure thay are more that do to thats just the girls i can think of off the top of my head and thay are a few that i can not think of the names so LPN's hold your heads up cals u are doing a job most could not do me for 1,and CNA's u 2 cals no way i could do your job and any 1 who thinks thay could handle it go for 1 day and walk in the nurses shoes and then come back and comment.
