I know Wade and he's a hard working fine example of what a christian should be. The rest of his family is another story. I don't know how things will go it depends on how much power his wife is given. Don't expect a warm welcome from his wife or kids theyd drown if it rained! It's a shame so many were hurt years ago. The money issue again depends on where the power lies. They have many good programs going on. Lets wait and see.

Lord, Have Mercy on your Soul...You sound like a very bitter and mean person. Thank God that He has
endless Mercy. You had better hope and pray that you aren't judged as harsh as you judge others....

Word in town is that Doug Shortridge and the Funeral Home bought the Tookland church. I know for a fact that he paid to rent a uhaul to move all the stuff up there and heard that he bought all those big banners and stuff too

We go to church to worship our heavenly father and to fellowship with other christians. There are hypocrites in all churches and religions. God said that anything done in secret will be revealed. Please study the Bible and pray for wisdom. Jesus christ is lord and savior!

History has a way of repeating itself and is very true in this case.

I dare to disagree. This church has opened its doors to those who many do not even want to be close to let alone minister to. Celebrate Recovery is now held there once every Tuesday and every other Thursday. This is truly a ministry to the lost and hurting. Jesus came for the sick because those who are well have no need of a physician. There is no personal or worldly glory in ministering to those who are bound by addiction. They have nothing to give but their heart and souls. Most have lost all worldly possessions along with love and respect for themselves. This church along with New Life Fellowship and Harman Memorial Baptist should be praised for ministering to those who are truly spiritually sick.
