The highest numbers of new filings came from Pennsylvania and Ohio, where there were thousands of layoffs in the construction, manufacturing, and automobile industries.

Both states had been targeted by the presidential campaigns. President Obama highlighted his record of job creation in Ohio in particular, focusing on the automobile industry. The state reported 6,450 new jobless claims in the week after the election--second-highest after Pennsylvania, which recorded 7,766 new claims

OK if you want to accept four more years of failures go for it. But I will continue to demonstrate what the damage a real idiot in the White House can do to the US...

There is nothing to accept, he won, popular vote, electoral vote, what more can be done.

Get over yourself, I'm stuck with him and so are you unless you are renouncing your citizenship and leaving the country.

And you are demonstrating nothing that I can see except whining.

I have been asking for someone to tell me why he is a great president. He is a complete fool. There are fewer people working than when he took office. More people on food stamps. I talked to an ignorant a$$ democrat the other day and she believed that Romney was going to take away her mama's check....dems are just that stupid. They think that obammy is out to help them and they get poorer and poorer! How funny. I am a millionaire and made more money under the fool than I ever made before..... how funny. And you all just keep lining up to vote for the fools!..... reminds me of a song, "wishin and hopin" but nothing ever helps you fools. Yall are poor now and you always will be!!!

What about the fool that preceded him, their policies are what pushed the country over the edge. Obama made some bad decisions to try to offset what he had dumped in his lap. I know the reality as well as you do. It can be slanted in many directions.

It's time for both parties to work together and do the jobs they were sent there for.

Obama wsa not experienced enough then nor now to run the US. He has never had a job, not even a business degree. He keeps telling the American public about raising tax rates on the 250k wage earners. That makes the poor and middle class feel all warm and fuzzy. Romney's plan of cutting the deductions and loopholes was a much more workable plan. It would generate many more jobs. You know and I know the people in this country who work cannot supply healthcare to those who don't. Romney was right when he said he couldn't help the 47%, how do you cut their taxes when they don't pay any now. Obama knows how to scare the ignorant sheep.

geesh you are so hung up on Obama! If Congress continues to sit on their rich backsides and doing nothing but point fingers at each other, it doesn't matter what Obama wants or what the general public wants. The public stated its wants with the election, get on with it! And I really think you facts in your last statement are not right.

How much money did Bush commit to Iraq for those weapons of mass destruction that were never found. Great decision for us and our military. Not. Great decision for his and Chaney's Haliburton shares of stock though!

November 6, 2012, the day the USA, United States of America, was laid to rest. Now the socialists can start building their USSA, United Socialist States of America, the western extension of the EU. Edward Glaeser said it this way, America, Welcome to Europe. Now the rich socialists whom you call democrats don't have to go across the pond to go to Europe. You brought Europe to you. Long live American branch of the USE, comrades. Not my comrades, comrades to each other.

You sheep need to get your facts straight before making statements, you look more like fools than you do already."The ad claims Cheney got $2 million from Halliburton "as vice president," which is false. Actually, nearly $1.6 million of that was paid before Cheney took office. More importantly, all of it was earned before he was a candidate, when he was the company's chief executive."..........
