Why would this be in the news other than a bad case of "adult helicopter parenting?"

OK so why has this kids face and "news" article been here for 2 days just cuz he got a promotion in a tiny little bank? Who cares other than his mom? What gives? Does Santa Cruz County Bank really need this much lame attention?
