Hey Carbide, Correct me if i am wrong but did you say you never broke the law. So you never got a speeding ticket or a parking ticket., or is that you never got caught
Why are you comparing apples to oranges?Speeding and breaking into a home firing a gun are 2 different things.First of all if any adult gets pulled over for driving recklessly and they are going at a very unsafe speed they will get arrested or they will lose their license,so there is punishment from the law.And as for a speeding ticket for going a few miles over the speed limit,if you choose not to pay that ticket you will also go to jail.Well this teen made the choice to break into a home so he should also be punished.

He lucky he's only going to jail. Had he broken into my home he would likely not have survived.

Damn stright Lloyd. Just try to invade my home, and put my family at risk of harm.....no jail time for you, just a nice, quiet funeral. I can replace anything in my home, except the precious souls living there. Many, many times some punk, thug breaks into the wrong home and gets his just rewards. Good for them, defending their home. Don't put me on that jury, we'll convict before lunch.

I also like the idae of prisoners in tents, they do it in Arizona, and make them wear pink underwear and prison garb. Their crime rate has dropped significantly since instituting that. Plus, they all know if you escape, there may not be water for 50 miles...tends to keep a body stationary. Kinda like "Holes"...good movie, great concept!
