To all fire fighter....Thank You for serving. Each and every one of you. It is so sad that it takes moments like this for people to stop and realize exactly what you put on the line for each and every one of us everyday. At the end of the week that pay pay check or in this case that passion to serve ...hardly seems worth the exchange. So from the bottom of our hearts we thank you and thank your families. We are so sorry for you your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

My heart-felt prayers go out to the family, friends, co-volunteers of Brad Holmes. The family's loss has been felt by everyone. Even strangers. Emergency Services Volunteers are a true breed of their own, a "band of brothers" which has been wittnessed by the outreach of other volunteer fire/rescue personnel. Brad unselfishly served, so we pay tribute and recognize a true hero. May he rest in peace, and watch over his band of brothers. God bless everyone...

I was driving through Grove City and wondered about the flags at half mast. I now know from google the reason why.
My sympathies to Brad's family and friends and of course fellow fire fighters.

It's sad. At least Brad died doing what he loved! He is truly a hero. I never got to meet him but I wanted to offer my condolences...
