residents with bed sores what are these CNA`s doing?? other then showing up to get a paycheck
there is NO call for any residents to have bed sores. just think of the money these people pay each month to have their loved ones taken care of.
and they get what in return other then a dam bed sore!!!!!!! I would never place a loved one in a place like this.. If i could not care the the loved one myself I would hire ones to come to the house and care for them... and those of you that cant care for your loved ones.. check them make sure they are getting the care...
CNA`s are paid at least $10.00 Per hour and for what?? what are they doing sitting on their butts and letting these people lay all the time? If they were doing their jobs these poor people would not have bed sores.

I work in a longterm care facility. The above letter is sadly sometimes the case. Our elders deserve to be treated with dignity and love. I work with elders who have dementia and Alzheimers. I have been given a great gift of being to share in this new journey they are on. Our elders have a great deal to teach us about ourselves. There are many people who have chosen this career for all the wrong reasons.. It has been made far to easy for anyone to ,quote unquote, take care of a precious and valuable elders. The training they receive is inadequate and is not screened nearly enough. Part of the problem is many people taking on the responsibilty of caring for elders really do not care. Another problem is the state minimum for care takers is very low. We as a people should demand more C.N.A.s on a unit so that not only can our elders physical needs be taken care of but also their emotional needs. As a family member complain often to the state and the the home to up their standards of care. Make sure they care about the loneliness, boredom and helplessness our elders often feel.
