So you have been arrested? Ok, we are dealing with a real winner. Did they have to tase you when they arrested you? I bet they didn't and you got pumped in the a$s in jail. It's not their fault that you enjoyed your jailtime. Don't drive either? That must be why you like dudes because women expect more. Inmate with no wheels. What a catch. Turn off your stolen computer and get a job.

Just why would police fire a taser at the man after he put his gun in the holster, He already gave him self up, I think thats misuse of power. I know the man is a criminal, but he knew he couldnt get away so he gave up, and for that the police used a taser after the man un armed himself, what signal are they giving people, they should be held accountable for their actions causing the man to retalitate after he gave up, I agree they need to protect themselves,, im sure police already had their guns drawn which i agree with, I dont agree with the tasering on a person that was trying to give up.

Putting his gun in a holster on his person doesn't remove the danger. If he'd have dropped it on the gound, like I'm sure they ordered him to dozens of times, and backed away, no problem. But if he still has the gun on him, he's still a threat. From the story, they showed great restraint. The taser, if it had worked, is supposed to keep him from making any movements, like drawing the gun. The fact that he did draw the gun when the taser failed shows he was not giving up and was still a danger.

There are a whole lot of people who feel so confident and justified in second-guessing about things they know nothing of, from the safety of their keyboards. Allow me to reply on behalf of cops everywhere. We don't care what you think. You don't know what you are talking about. Have a nice day.

In the course of protecting citizens a Police Officer's first responsibility is to protect themselves, no matter how small the threat seems to be. In my opinion there is no such thing as excessive lethal force until suspect is cuffed and in the cruiser.

Sooooo.....you are implying that being cuffed in the back seat of my police car is excessive lethal force.Apparently, you've never been arrested before.

just because im not a police officer doesnt mean i dont know any thing, but as always cops have to act all might and act better than anyone else, lol. I did not say you should not protect your self, i agree with the shooting when he pulled his gun from the holster, hell you should have shot him in the head, What i said was why did you tase him after he put his gun in the holster, if he threw it on the ground it could have went off and killed an innocent by stander, but of course you have to jump in and call everyone stupid. And now you cant even talk about it without gettin all pissed about it cause you KNOW that no one else knows anything, Im glad you shot the scumb bag after drawing his gun. I just asked a simple question and gave my opion so i guess im stupid.

It sounds like you are challenging their decision. They should be defensive because what they did was appropriate. They tried to peacefully resolve the situation. Do you want to be the one to try to handcuff a non compliant person with a gun on his hip. I don't! Glad i am not a cop because i would have shot him as soon as I saw the gun. Good job to those officers.
