The wrong people are leaving. What about Human Resource, Head of SPED, Roche's principal. Those are the ones who should be gone!

Soon enough...give the new Sup. a chance....
Why are we being charged $150 if your kid wants to be the play??
We saw it was self-funded in the budget last year. Pathetic.

Perhaps new leadership will promote more professional behavior among the teaching staff, too. This school is a huge disappointment after good grade schools and a good middle school. Are these teachers just coasting?

This action was long overdue.

Cohen was manipulating the system and lied left and right. Remember the parking fee fiasco. Cohen went before the SC and claimed all the students were for the 400% increase in parking fees going from $25 to $100. No one was for it, she lied, then she told the students the fee was going up, no explanation.

The new Super is obviously a smart guy. Hats off to him. Good job Joe!

You are being charged $150 for the play because the towns of Groton and Dunstable did not vote for an override and the former administration was smart enough to cut after school activities instead of teachers.

I agree that the principal of Roche should be escorted out.

Now that the Fat lady has sung, are the bathrooms still locked or do students still have to be observed going number 1 and number 2 by the nurse or gym teacher? I prefer to pee pee in my pants than give perverts that satisfaction. Good Riddance!

This is terrible news coming as it does during the accredition cycle. I'll bet that the high school will lose its accreditation, or be put in warning status. They've lost 4 teachers and 3 administrators in one year. This is not what NEASC wants to see. He fired those two administrators and a terrific staffer that everyone is upset about. And he tells us we can't write in the blogs. Has he ever heard of the first amendment?

Correction, 4 administrators. Not a proud record.

Mr. Frey - Open your eyes. That was "no coincidence". Matrocola is demoralizing our teachers and staff and rules from his perch downtown with that witch using fear, intimidation and mean spirit. Go and ask anybody who works there. I dare you.

Frey thinks Mastrocola thinks will step in as acting principal. Huh? School committee wasn't informed what their employee was going to do with his time? Where are these people? Out to lunch, no doubt.

You didn'[t like Cohen, you'll wish she was back. Watch out for JoeJoe.

Read Joe M's announcement on the GDRSD website www.gdsrd.org .

New Interim Dean - Rick Arena -- Big time- Joe Dillon lackey
New Interim Assistant Principal - Marisa Brisson - Big time Joe Dillon lackey.
Plans to hire a experienced interim principal from outside the district
(short hand, Joe Dillon !)

Hired a mentoring coordinator, who provides services (short hand, high cost consultant) to do what teachers are suppose to do for NEASC.

Potty-Gate was won by a Dunstable Selectman and the Groton Board of Health a few years ago. That was the most despicable scenario I can remember in the history of GDRSD. Hats off to the Groton BoH and the Dunstable Selectman!

If the adm are leaving its because they know the days of doing what they want are over. This new supt is a change agent and the teachers and adm need to get on board or follow the high school departees.

Stop whining, we needed this shake three years ago. Joe Mastrocola is an awesome addition to the GDRSD! Keep it up Joe, there are a lot of people very happy right now!

J. Sjoberg said lets hire him cause he does "Stuff"

You'll need to pay attention, watch out for your wallet, read the announcement on their website.
Joe M. adds an Assistant principal now to HS

Count before:

Dean
Principal

Count after:

Dean
Asst Principal
Interim Principle
Two educational consultants
and the end is no where to be found.

It's going to be a bumpy costly 3 year ride.

Thanks Jon S., Joe M. certainly is doing his "Stuff"

THATS IT - SC and Joe outa here. I'm paying to have my kid in the play, and he's giving money to his friends. No better than the last one. Go to Hillsboro.
