Am I the only one who notices the absolute decrepy condition of this place? Unfortunately, it is the only laundromat around and it is obvious that the "run it into the ground" mentality is here to stay. I wonder how the building inspectors for the town are able to look the other way? I just hope that nobody got hurt in the recent fire there. Maybe now the town will be forced to do a thorough inspection of this place before someone gets seriously injured in this death trap of a place.

Maybe they are just trying to cash in on the insurance for it?

This busuness is well known to Ayer EMS. There have been electrical fires at this place before and police are routinely called to break up altercations. This past winter, there have been homeless people found sleeping on the floor there. Not sure why a town like Ayer would want a place like this?

It will probably be an insurance job.....the owners have no intentions of repairing or investing in the property since they have no competition around.

Bubble it is the way it is as is the town of Ayer itself . Next time you stroll
threw the town , take a good look at the conditions of other buildings and places that are vacant. Ayer needs a complete makeover. Just take a good look
at the surrounding towns and then you will know what i mean

The "lightning" struck last night on Main Street.... What a remarkably prescient yet creepy prediction.

Let's hope that when they torch the place that they at least make sure that it is empty first

So buy one! I got a cheap washer off craigslist for $60 about 10 years ago. It still works. Never owned a dryer ... I just use a cloths line. I've saved a lot of money over laundromats, and even more time this way.

Ayer used to bea very nice, quiet town with apple orchards. Now it is home to tattoo parlors, honky tonks and alot of burned out and boarded up buildings. What a shame.

Just wondering but why is it that none of the elected town officials will reply or defend or answer any of these concerns? Buusinesses and buildings are being boarded up and burned down at an increasing rate yet our elected town officials have nothing to say or reply? Silence = Approval

I agree.... It is very sad when parts of Ayer can make Lawrence, MA look desirable by comparison. Why is this considered acceptable?

To visit the Bubble-It is like taking a trip to foreign lands.... One can stand in the cratered parking lot and imagine that they are in a bombed out part of Syria or Afghanistan. Or once inside, one can imagine that they are witnessing the destruction in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy! Or one can take a trip there to see up close the dangers of faulty wiring and the lack of safety and oversight from any inspections. Ahhh.... aren't we blessed to have this establishment here in town to enjoy.

Just wondering why there is nobody defending or explaining this place? Are the owners just too embaressed or ashamed to make even a trite rebuttal here? Just wondering out loud.......

Been wondering the same thing...... Not even one post from anyone for nearly a year to explain or defend this place. What's up with that?
