Detroit Parents Enrolling Kids in Suburban Schools

A number of Detroit parents are desperate in their search to find public schools they consider safe and effective.

Those kids do not get it.
I'll say it again: YOu can run away from Detroit public schools but you cannot run away from your own misbehavior.

They disrepect Black teachers, throw toilet paper at them, disrupt learning environment in class then later run away to go being a minority in walled Lakes, Bloomfield Hills, etc.
Some people enjoy being a minority or remaining at the bottom of society.
When you see some detroit school officials saying " we let our kids down " one wonders where are those parents from. Not to acknowledge these kids let themselves down is the biggest mistake.
It it time the state makes military service a requirement for graduation in High school and middle schools. These kids need to spend at least one month every year with the michigan national Guard to learn something about discipline and other motal values.

So what happens is "whitey" isn't allowed to have a say as to how the degenerates run our metropolis down to nothing, and don't want "whitey" to have anything to say about change for the city. But as soon as fit hits the shan, they send their mongrel children to the suburbs where "whitey" can foot the bill for them, so they can dilute our education process with their misbehavior and incredulous "gimme" attitude. Yes, this is exactly what Michigan needs, more ripple effects of degenerates coming out to where decent people live and work.

It was a society that destroyed our great city in 1967, and the subsequent mayors (with the exception of Archer) have done little to bring the communities together.

I say put a fence up and leave them in there to kill themselves off. Maybe then Detroit will have a fighting chance to return to its once great glory.

One nation under God ,buddy. I mean this should be a shared responsibility,believe it or not the city of warren has the same issue of disruptive kids,not to name The Nile in Troy MI.

Those kids did not put into place the crazy law that send parents to jail for "overdisciplining " their children. Detroit is full of hard-working parents who are fighting a war against violence .
The media( internet,movie, TV, newspapers) are not helping at all. That why the military can help. Put these kids in a camp, make then "swim " on a dry pavement, sing patriot songs, stand in front of the flag every morning plegde about being a good citizen, make them swim in cold water at 4:00 AM and let them run 4 mile everyday between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM.
No TV, no internet,no video game , no music,only one meal a day for one month.

Once again people miss a point.

I'm all for having an ENTIRE COMMUNITY working towards a better Detroit/Michigan. But it's the Blacks NOT the WHITES that won't allow it to happen. What they will do is undermine solid communities by fleeing from the very city they destroyed.

And I don't buy the line that it's the White Middle Class that ruined Detroit by moving their businesses out to the Suburbs. If they didn't do that, the Blacks would have BURNED THEM DOWN.

I do realize this was a long time ago, however, there has been almost little to NO reconciliation. With a city such as Detroit with an illiteracy rate of near 50% I wonder if they are even capable of running themselves into anything other than the ground.

we are talking education.The fact that Whites ran away from detroit doesn't justify some behavior many students are having towards their teachers in the metropolitan area. You didn't want a full community. You wanted a city unto yourselves. Now you've proven what failures the generations were. Poor Dr. Martin Luther King would have a thing or two to say to the mess.

I want our city to thrive, I want all children to have the level of intelligence to compete in a global economy. But sending them away to a community that neither wants them nor can relate to them is not right. These children need their fathers and mothers to help them build up the beautiful Gothic city they were given.

20 years ago I lived on 6 mile and Chalmers. Nice area. Blacks started moving in and today it looks worse than war torn Iraq. Bagdad, Iraq would be safer.

I now live in Eastpointe. When the highschool lets out it looks like someplace in Africa.
