Why doesn't he just plead.guilty and take his.medicine? These cops should have trials similar to ucmj in military. This has already been over four years since these crooked cops.were being investigated. I get upset even thinking about what trust they have destroyed in lawr enforcement. I remember living in a small town of samson alabama in 1973 and my dad saying it was terrible officer there was poor. These police make above average money and steal on top of their salaries. Unbelievable!

The whole idea is to delay and work a deal. Memories become cloudy. Records disappear. People die. People can be influenced. The prosecutor gets tired and is more pliable. Golf is played and wet lunches are taken. Most of these cases never get to trial. They still drag on interminably. Eventually you might see some obscure paragraph on the back page where a misdemeanor deal was agreed to. That's how it works when police are charged.

Preaching to the choir here.
Everything on the video is true, but limited in scope compared to reality.
I have known Detroit Police who carry "throw downs."
Darkness and privacy are police staples. Many arrestees have accidental falls or resist where there are no cameras.

It does not end on the street. It happens in detention or even during interrogation. Many will sign anything to end the misery.

Don't think you are going to present anything to help yourself. It will be ignored, changed and hidden.

Do not talk. Do not consent. Talk to an attorney.

Actually the trial was postponed due to the Chief pleading guilty right before all their trials were about to begin.
