Hello. I was wondering if I could get some advice. My wife and I have been married for a while. And she is a great person hard worker and my nurse. I'm disabled and would like to get her something very special for valentines but I'm at a loss. She don't care for flowers. Candy or jerwery she has a nice car. So as you can see I'm at a loss this year.. she does so much for me and my dad. Shes all we have. We don't have any children and my family has turned their back on me and my dad. My father is dieing with cancer and I'm sick. So any ideals would be greatful. I just want her to know that she meansthe world to Me . We don't have much. And she don't ask for anything. She is a special person she gave up her. Life to stay with me and help me. I'm not asking for any money just some ideals on what to give her.. thank you in advance.. a loving husband

Does she like music? Personally, I love getting music as gifts...It soothes the soul and can be used everyday.

Just letting her know how much she means to you and maybe a special day just for you two to enjoy a movie together or other activity that she would enjoy and would be in your budget. If you are able to when warmer weather comes in, a day at the park would be nice. There are several places in town that she can get her nails done or hair if that is what she likes. Iif you would like to give her a facial or massage and she can go to Crossville or Cookeville, i can make a few suggestions. I understand with your dad having terminal cancer it is a tough time and if not family, is there any home health or hospice that can help for a few hours?
Is there any hobbies she likes? You may get her supplies or even books that she would like. I'm sure she would love whatever you do decide.. Jimtown florist and other shops have other things for valentines day than just flowers. Nice pictures, angel figurines, blankets and other items under fifty dollars. If you can"t go in, you can call and they can make suggestions within your price range and deliver.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I really like all of them. Like I stated. In the first post its hard to get her something do to the fact that shes more like adown to earth person who don't care for worldly things. So I think I found a great gift. And would like to see what you think. I went to visit my dad and while there it hit me. She has always wanted a family Bible so today I went and got one. And I also got her a small pocket Bible so she could carry it with her. She was looking for one to carry in the car. My dad also said that he had a family Bible that was passed down in our family and he gave it to me to give her.I know she will take great care of this Bible its got every birth and death in mu family from. Way back. When my dads grandpa was little. And o did a box of candy as well. Thanks a again for the nice replys. If every one knew how special my wife is. Then you all would understand.

Perfect gift!! You may also if you can find a nice bookcove for it. My young niece was looking for one today and I offered one I have not used which has a THomas Kinkae picture and bible verse on it. I got it at a Christian bookstore in Crossville but I believe they closed. Ebay or amazon may have some too if you are interested.
Such a sweet story and so nice to know that real love is still out there. Wirh all the negativity on topix, just a nice change. Bless you and your wife and so glad you and she will have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!
