Nah. Obama's lackeys are buying up ammo for their respective departments...that causes the shortages being felt across the country.

The law of supply and demand sometimes bites hard. Now that the wars are winding down, maybe ammo'll become more available although I seriously doubt manufacturers will come down on the price.

I've talked with other agencies as well; lots of shortages all around. Not too pleased seeing big sis janet n. And her ilk buying up tons of ammo...people in general get jittery when stuff runs low, they get dowright pissed and panicky when other folks keep telling them that they are going to start making a real effort to keep them from getting weapons and ammo.

No doubt you're heard that in California they're rounding up weapons, mags and ammo from honest, law-abiding citizens, going door to door and conducting what might be illegal searches of homes in order to disarm freedom loving Americans to keep them from defending themselves, violating their Constitutional rights, or whatever! Over 20,000 are targeted, and there may be more added to the list in the very near future.

Damn that liberal state, Nancy Pelosi and my ex wife, who lives there!

Does it worry you that the same thing could happen in Georgia? Could you be one that gets in the cross-hairs when it happens?

While that is actually happening, and sounds scary on the surface, there's a catch you might appreciate.

Hope that it does not come to violence...the use of a database to find out who are "mentally ill" is very broad and can be expanded quickly. How many people take any form of pschotropic drug for: anxiety, depression, bi-polar, ADD, etc? How long will it be before those people are deemed too mentally unstable to have a gun? Let Mexico have Kalifornia; they've destroyed their own country, I'm sure they will do a bang up job with that dump as well.

You're paranoid. Look at what you've written; "Hope," "can be," "How many," "any," "How long," "before," "I'm sure," "I'm sure." You might as well say little green men from Mars may land and try to take over the blue marble.

All three! They each packed away at least two of everything on the menu, and washed it all down with quarts of Cokes, diet Cokes.

When they belched, everybody dove for cover thinking they were about to explode, either that or the foundation was cracking.

Come back with some stats slick and we'll have a grown up conversation. If you have an 7th grade understanding of history you can at least understand govts and their murderous tendencies.

I'm more than familiar about the history of rulers, in fact a college degree (History) in it.

But you're the type who has an inexhausable supply of "what ifs," and "could bes" and so on. There is no such thing as an absolute.

Yes it has happened in Franklin before and can happen again. There are some weird violent people there who like power. Secret stuff all the time. Pretending to be Christians but they are not Christians if you look at their past activity. Lots of arson the past year and a clueless sheriff.
