Worst doctor I have ever seen. He wouldn't answer my questions, treated me as though I were stupid, was condescending and disrespectful of me. I will not be returning as patronizing arrogance does not make for good doctor/patient relationship. I will be sure to tell everyone I can to avoid this man at all costs. Good treatment goes a long way and so does poor quality care - which is what I got.

Worst of the worst. I have never been so poorly treated. Like the previous post: he was condescending and disrespectful, did not answer my questions, was patronizing and arrogant, treating my questions as though they were an imposition of his time. Hey, I'm paying him, not the other way around. Will NEVER visit this man again and I will make sure that everyone I meet knows about his ill-treatment.

As with the previous posters I agree that this was the worst experience I ever had with a doctor. Telling me that my concerns are not important is not a way to win me over as a continuing patient. I was also referred to this horrible man, but will be informing my primary care M.D. that she needs to take this awful man off her list. (I would like to know how much he paid to get on her referral list.) I have a college degree yet was treated with condescension and disrespect. He has my vote as the worst doctor ever.

Very good doc, even if bedside manner might not always agree with everyone. Most GENTLE touch and manner of any ob/gyn I've had, and for me this does count. He has come through for me when my primary doctor wasn't with the program, ordering necessary (from my perspective) testing. He really follows through, at times in person, on any abnormal results.

His sensibility is a bit old fashioned because, especially during pregnancy when everything under the sun is normal, he aims to calm anxieties. Sometimes this is done a bit assertively, but I do think this is more a stylistic issue. Otherwise his manner is excellent, gentle, and respectful.

You have to be comfortable with your doctor, and I am very comfortable with him.

Not someone I will choose to deliver a second baby. Unfortunately our insurance made me go to him, but I would rather have to pay full price than ever see him again. He will not receive referrals from me.

I thought he was a great doctor! He is very confident & knowledgeable. I felt like he took the time to answer questions I had. I agree with one of the other posters that he is very gentle with the exams. The first time I went there I had to have my annual exam & it was the quickest, least painful exam I have ever had!! Usually they have hurt when I have them in the past. I would definitely go again. I think as far as other posters they just didn't mix with his personality. I would be extremely confident in my job after 23 years of experience as well. I trust him 110%.

I thought he was very unprofessional: He ignored the nurses, acted as if they were an imposition and stupid(even said so), rolled his eyes at their attempts to help me, wouldn't answer my questions and was generally unpleasant. I wanted my child's birth to be a joy and he managed to destroy that with his attitude. I will not be returning to see him.

Great Doctor! Delivered my first two kids and wish I still lived in Gresham so he could deliver my soon to be third. He tell you things straight, and did a great job of easing my concerns. Hope my new Doctor is a good as Dr. Yanke.

I loved Dr. Yanke! I had another doctor within the practice but she left the last month of my pregnancy so I only got to see him for a few apointments and my delivery. I just dont understand the negative reviews?? I thought he was super funny and nice and really down to earth. Immediately after my baby was born he jokingly asked if I was ready to push the next one? He was really great about easing the tension that naturally comes with pregnancy. Also very sympathic, especially considering he is a man who hasn't been through childbirth himself. He takes it very seriously. Honestly I liked Dr. Yanke enough I wanted to have another baby. He's great!

Dr Yanke is the best OBGYN I ever had, at first I was very nervous about having a man as my OBGYN but something told me to trust him, and I am glad I did, I have cp so its was hard for him to do a PAP exam on me, he was very patient with me and understating. In March of this year I had my tubs frozen, I was in the hospital and I got really scared he asked my family to please leave the room so he can have a moment alone with me, he took my hand and said" Crystal you are OK I will not let anything happen too you" In all my medical experience I never had a doctor that claim me down like that. Then about a month latter I wasn't feeling good and I came in and his staff was so helpful and kind, I saw him that next day and he said, " I was off, I am sorry I wasn't their for you, when you needed me, was my staff helpful to you?" I reply "Yes they are ALWAYS so helpful" In about two years I will probably have to change OBGYN because my husband and I are planing to move to Las Vegas. I will miss them but not forget them, I do believe in angels and they are mine.

Dr. Yanke is a wonderful Doctor. He has a great bedside manner. He has always answered all my questions. He delivered my daughter 15 years ago. When I was in severe pain and went to the emergancy room, they couldn't find anything wrong with me, I went to Doctor Yanke the next day and he found that I had gallstones, my OBGYN found this - I think it is amazing. Dr. Yanke perfomed my hysterectomy this year, he was great. Wonderful to my parents, to my boyfriend, he took time to answer all their quesitons. Follow up was wonderful as well. I could not ask for a better doctor.

I was a patient for my third child. High risk and anxious. Dr. Yanke was the best Dr EVER! My husband loves him also. Answered all questions patiently, took time to be thorough and gentle. Refused to put our baby at risk even at his own inconvenience. Even took my phone calls when his day was so full he didn't have time to eat! His whole manner from day one had us relaxed and glad to be working with him.
He is in our childs baby book of memories as an important person.
If we lived there in Gresham still we would go there for our next child as well!

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Leo

This is a good day for concentrating on activities that boost your self-esteem and sense of satisfaction. Do the very best job you can manage, partly for your own sense of pride and partly because it's important for you that bosses and superiors know what you're capable of. There should be good news about a pay rise, perk or a new job that's in the pipeline.
