Does anyone know anything about Amando Montes, from Taft Texas??

I need to get a hold of Amando Montes. His son wants to be adopted and I have no way to get a hold of him to have him sign the papers.

I think you are supposed to have your lawyer publish in the newspaper of the last known residence of the missing parent , the court filing that you have filed for him to be adopted. they dont have to sign the papers if you can prove that you have truely looked everywhere.

Example: My husband wanted to adopt my youngest daughter that he raised from a very little girl, we could not find her bio dad anywhere, phone, email , family members wouldnt talk , and he wasnt at his last known address. So we ent ahead and filed the adoption petition then it was published in the Houston Chronicle for several times in the legal notices section,,,,, this was his last known residence....the notice was directed at him and let him kno that if he objected to it , he had so many days to file and answe back . By this point is doesnt matter if he sees it or not. He didnt reply at all and my husband adopted her by default.......

The las could possibly be a little different out there , but if you emphasize you cant find this guy and have looked so long , he actually might also be able to help locate him , after this long it would be ridiculous for him to contest it even if he tried . Lawyers have loads of resources we dont to find folks , if they still cant , then the publication in the paper thing will eventually come into play .

Also , your attorney might find his folks or some other relative and serve him that way , which if he still doesnt respond .. then that is just too bad.

He is about 38 years old and it is Montes. He was in jail for a while, however I don't know where he is now.
