Jason Gradinac was and will always be one of the best men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He lived life the right way and is so undeserving of what happened to him on Sunday night. If you were the one driving the car please come forward and admit your mistake.

I was on US-23 when the accident occured. Prior to the accident, a Red Monte Carlo Dale Earnhart series car was driving erradically thru traffic. After reading about this accident on Monday, I called the number listed but was told the lead detective was out of the office until Wednesday. How can you not take information until Wednesday on an issue like this? Don't they want to make any possible effort to get witnesses as soon as possible after the event so that it is fresh and people don't forget anything?

You called the Livingston County Sheriffs department and were told that???? As a taxpayer in this county that makes me so fired MAD! Whoever answered your call should be fired! Or was it Hartland Police?? The locals are a bit STOOPID here! LOL It was very sad to hear that this young man lost his life for such a dumb reason. I was very sorry to read about it.

I had the privilege of working with Jason. He was one of the shining stars at his company. This is so unfair.

I had the privlage to have known and worked with Jason for the past 5 years at General Motors, where I had the oppurtunity to watch his development from a college graduate to very respectable and intelligent Engineer within our group. It was amazing how quick he picked up everything. He always looked to improve himself. But of all aspects, the most incredible characteristics about Jason, was his personality. He was one of the most outgoing and generous persons I have ever met. Never a negative thing to say. So, last Monday morning when I was informed of his passing, I was shocked, and I still am. His loss was unfortunate and not necessary. That is what makes it so shocking. He had a bright future in front of him.
So, Mr. Haney, I hope you did not give up in contacting the detective in this matter, and were able to finally get through. Hopefully, more people like you will come forth and provide information. Knowing that it was a Earnhardt limited MC can only help reduce the choices in this area Michigan. It will not bring Jason back, but it could help answer the question why.
I will miss him, and I will never forget him. Incredible guy.

Let me see, crappy economy, a governor who not only has a mole that requires removal but also doesn't know her BUTT from a hole in the ground, foreclosures up the wazooo, plant closings, layoffs galore, Ford Motor Company and General Motors -- neither of which know what they are doing---------AND NOW INCREASE THE SPEED LIMIT???? ABOVE 70? Isn't that fast enough??? Good lord.

I had the pleasure of working with the Gradinac family on numerous real estate transactions. They are the poster family for how we would all like to live. I felt like I was part of the family when I was with them. I know they are just shattered beyond belief. Jason was a wonderful Son,Brother,Uncle and Friend. He would have made some woman a wonderful Husband and Father to her children. My prayers are out daily for the entire family. Rest in peace Jason. You left us much too soon.

to the person who knew and worked with the man who died in the fatal hit and run...I keep trying to look for the initial news story on this but it will not come up online for me...i live far away in Las Vegas so could you please help me locate the story..as well as any news on how this thing is goping..trial? bond? sentence?
