best place in town to eat

OMG has anyone eat at the WILD WILLIES resturant there in town. its a small place but I have gotten the absolute best meals ihave ever eaten at Heber. I am not from Heber but Im there all the time and I have tried every resturant in town and this one hands down has it all Great food, good looking waitresses and prices that cant be matched. espeacially by that Macs I will never eat there again ,My order was wrong and it took forever and the price was outrageous. My whole family of 4 could eat at willies forless than the price of 2 at Macs. Now the Place down by swinging bridge is great but its expensive. Now this is the review of an unbiased outsider from NEA but see for yourself those steaks melt in your mouth and you probably cant finish it its so big and your pocket book will see the difference to.

Has anyone heard of the Getaway Cafe? I have never been but someone said it was ok.

Getaway Cafe is not very good, SLOW wait staff, 7 Springs is the same. Small buffet and the food was nothing special some was bland. Wild Willies is decent food for the price, however I did have a hair in my lasagna last week and all they did was offer to bring me another plate. Most other places comp your meal for that. Cowboy Cafe is good BBQ. If you want very good BBQ take the short drive to Pangburn and eat at Southern Girls BBQ. Wait staff can be slow and the food can be slow getting to you at times but you get large portions at a good price and taste is very good. McPherson’s is a decent buffet with good wait staff and decent price. El Rays has decent food with quick wait staff. Michaels has decent food, a decent buffet but the few times I have eaten there or waitress was not very good. Could not remember drink orders and had to remind her that you asked for a refill.

The Mona Lisa Cafe in downtown Shirley has good food.It's very clean and neat.Their menu selection is small,but still good food.They even had a hot buffet.The owner is also the cook and I Lisa is great!

I would like to print a retraction of my first statement, because I ate at Wild Willies again sunday at about 2:30 and it was HORRIBLE must have been the chefs day off and the waitresses were not the same ones either the ones sunday sucked. I have a wife and 3 kids and 4 out of the 5 couldnt eat this crap and when I told the waitress that the chicken and dressing was cold all she done was look at me funny and ask me if I wanted some tea. "Hell No" I want a hot meal that I paid good money for or I want my money back. The first time was great but if it doesnt get any better we wont be back. and I see that its not just us from the second statement on here. probably the same staff. surely management can do better

Getaway has closed down. Macks Fish House is OVERPRICED. Need a loan to get a meal. The two Chineese places both have made me sick after eating there. KFC is getting worse by the week. Chicken is greasy and they never replenish the buffet.

There are two good places to eat in Shirley, my favorite, The Mona Lisa, and the new kid on the block if Vinnies Coffeehouse. Can't go wrong with either one, both super clean and super good

Everything In Greers Ferry Shirley and Heber Springs Suks to eat! If you lived there and knew what the people in town in is involved in and you still eat around there without cooking you are nuts! To many meth heads, undercover gays, wife swapping and the news to day out of greers ferry is man was shot and killed by the cleburne county police so if thats where you want to eat go ahead!!!

China Delight in Heber Springs is my very favorite place to eat!!

I, personally, think that Mac's fish house is decently priced for decent food. I have never had a bad experience there. I even went to a semi-formal dinner there once...and they served us chicken (somewhat odd, but whatever).

Anyways, a wonderful place to eat in Heber is "Cravin' Cajun." They are a bit pricier, but they have wonderful food with a wonderful taste. Their french fries are cooked just write. They have a variety of options for however you're feeling--grilled, fried; spicy, not...whatever.

Also, I like El Rey. They are a Mexican restaurant. There are two of them, one past Wal-Mart and another just past Spring Park (on the way to ASU). The staff is friendly and the service is great. The food is wonderful too.

And the Sonic in Heber is the best in the area...just saying.

Honestly, there are a lot of "decent" places to eat in town. I will personally be avoiding Pizza Hut in any town from now on. Apparently it doesn't agree with my daughters digestion. Otherwise, if given the choice I would go to Micheal's or Cravin Cajun or El Rey's before any other place in Heber Springs. If you are ever in the Drasco area try York Girls Cafe, it is AWESOME food and even better prices.

I have eaten i nbedofrd Texas and it was the nastiest place to eat. Judge your own hell hole before you judge others. The server had more teeth missing than you probably do and she was in her 20's. It looked like we were in the backwoods of W. Virignia.

The food in heber sucks . I recommend cooking at home before going to heber to eat . the only place that I like to eat is at Rainbow at lindsey's resort any other place i would steer clear.

There isn't anything Different that you don't have in your town. I leave town to go out and eat uaually.I go to Macks on Fridays Some but not very often.You might sould fill up with Gas too theres a little difference here.We go to Quitman not very often their high these days.I have tried that 7 Springs resturant but I don't know if I will go back their slow usually during lunch
