It wasn't contradiction it was facts. I don't care how you put it. What part covers you in the 14 amendment?
The same part that covers you, dipwad.

I don't see any of this guy's defenders up in arms over the law in Indiana.

Why is that?

Indiana GOP passes law making it a crime for clergy to perform gay weddings

http://americablog.com/2013/07/indiana-makes-...

In what appears to be a rather massive violation of the freedom of religion, the Republican party in Indiana appears to have amended the state criminal code to either make it a crime, or confirm that it remain a crime, for clergy to conduct weddings for gay couples.

While it is not widely known, numerous mainstream American religions permit gay nuptials. The faiths include reform Judaism, Evangelical Lutherans, Episcopalians, and the United Church of Christ, among others.

The amendment to the criminal code, which will go into effect on July 1, 2014, makes it a misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a fine of $1,000 for clergy “solemnize” a marriage of two men or two women.

Polygamy or multiple marriage will be next, along with lowering age of consent laws. Just sayin'

We have a right to a state recognized marriage to a legally eligible spouse. The state has a very compelling interest in limiting the number of folk who enter such a contract to two, it has no interest in limiting that one spouse to somebody of your opposite sex. FYI, most state marriage laws weren't re-set when the states began increasing the age of consent to sex to 16 and 18 (in most states prior to the 20th century it hovered around 13-14), Many state laws allow people who are legally too young to consent to sex. to legally consent to marriage and its presumption of consummation in the biblical sense. You'll need parental and/or judicial consent to pull it off, but what some states set as their bag limit are pretty creepy in this day and age. You should check out some state's laws on immaculate conceptions and/or one's you aren't to blame for anyways.

The legislation authorizing marriages between same sex couples in New Hampshire, set the legal minimum age for one at 18 for both parties, with no provision for parental and/or judicial consent for minors, the bill also re-affirmed that the state's minimum age to consent to a legal opposite sex marriage remained at 14 for girls and 16 for boys. Tell us again who wants them young?

14 is too young in my opinion. Utah just ruled a polygamy ban unconstitutional. This may pave the way for state santioned plural marriages. You will soon be able to have a couple of each kind as wives and husbands.

14 is to young in my opinion as well with or without parental consent......and the ONLY thing found to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL with the law in Utah is the Cohabitation part.......NOTHING has changed with regard to allowing plural marriages to take place and NOTHING will change that until Reynolds vs The Unite States has been challenged and overturned by SCOTUS!!!

Some states allow younger.

No they did not, a federal court ruled that one part of Utah's ban, a law which prohibits someone who is legally married from co-cohabiting with someone other than their spouse. Something that isn't even illegal in most states.

No it won't, polygamists are no closer now to state sanctioned marriage than they were before this ruling.

You can already do that now, they just aren't legally recognized.
