I would LOVE to be "menaced" by these intelligent dogs!:) Please, "menace me!"
They are interesting to watch, interesting to interact with.
If these residents are afraid of coyotes, TEACH them not to be and how to react appropriately to them.
Because of all the IGNORANCE in Greenwood Village, the coyotes have to die?
I agree with you- it's uneducated snobs that cause drastic action like this. Terrible really

It should be illegal to walk "snacks" in nature areas!
Chihuaha's are not real dogs and do not belong where there is wildlife. It is PERVERSE and unfair to punish an animal for doing what nature intends!
The writer who said they're all Cokeheads is right too!

Ignorant but wealthy Greenwood Village residents are the RABID ones, not the wildlife they built their ugly houses on top of! Then their ignorant HOA's won't allow fences, so you have houses butting right up to "The Preserve."

These entitled idiots move into beautiful nature areas, build your UGLY McMansions, buy TINY DOGS, and then whine and insist they kill the native wildlife because it's going after a nice snack!
Too bad we can't use some kind of control for the "breeders" in Greenwood Village!!!

Let me assure you that mother nature has a very nasty and cruel way of dealing with over population of any species, including us. I don't live in the area so I can't comment if there is a population problem. However, here in Illinois there is, and when you see their bodies by the time mange gets them or just before it gets them, trust me you would want them shot. And that usually has to do with diet and or lack there of. So starving or a combination of either is a bad way to go. Trust your local DNR to do the right thing, that's their job. Many people would never dream of telling their surgeon how to operate, but just throw some emotion into it, and bingo, all of a sudden we have experts on wild life that don't care what the professionals say. Or it's the peoples fault for being there. Ok, who wants to move out first? Or who wants to go talk to a conservation expert with an open mind to see what actually goes into a decision and how their studies work. To be perfectly honest, you would not have all the diversity in nature if it were not for their work. And if they are like our DNR here, they don't make much money. When I see a healthy coyote, I'm always happy, because I have seen so many that have gone the bad way because I'm out in the field all the time.

Coyotes are dumb? You are joking, right? You are obviously dumb and ill informed.
Haven't you ever sen Roadrunner? These coyotes only buy their stuff from Acme, and it always backfires. Coyotes never learn!(Must not be from around here, not getting the anvil joke). Watch Bugs Bunny and get back to me.

The only "menacing" ones are the Greenwood Village residents themselves. There are too many of them and they need to STOP BREEDING.

This is SO bogus! The residents in this area are absolutely stupid and do not have a CLUE how to deal with wildlife of ANY kind.

They demanded the city kill the foxes and rabbits in Greenwood Village several years ago!

Proves that money can't buy BRAINS!

Let's see: One of the earth's residents, when someone yells at them or throws rocks, doesn't show fear or run away, so the cops consider him dangerous enough to kill on sight? Way to go, men in blue. If you don't cower or run you're a threat. Great world we're living in.

They already know how to kill butterflies, birds, plants, and rocks to serve their purpose. They should be nuked. Greenwood Village Idiots suck. They are shameful. Shoot 'em. What a pile of crap.
