If anyone wants to live in a house that is free, safe and happy they have to work hard at it along with everyone else that lives in that house. That would take love, patience, kindness, long suffering, mildness, self control and obedience to their parents, whether they are godly or not.
Galatians 5:22,23

If you want to live a world that is free, safe and happy you are going to have to look to the future, and adjust your thinking to be in harmony with the Bible. That book is available to almost everyone on this earth, and that Bible promises that God is going to clean up this earth, remove Satan and his demons and make it a paradise of peace and happiness.
As God is our heavenly Father, we are obliged to obey his word, as Jesus taught.

what does worshiping a proven false god have to do with protecting the country. religion seems to be the driving force of most of the violence in the world. but then the god of the bible is a big fan of killing people that don't believe in him....

Louie is the heir apparent to The right wing lunacy of Michele Bachmann when she retires.

"No country has ever fallen while it was truly honoring the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob," Gohmert said.

During WWII several European countries of the christian persuasion, Poland, France, etc fell while being christian. Eventually Germany itself fell while still under the christian influence. Many of these countries were part of the old Roman Empire, which also didn't fall until after christanity became the official religion.

Why doesn't god's magic work without prayers?

Same reason it doesn't work *with* prayers.

I guess this whole atheism thing is just too complicated for Louis. It apparently never occurred to him that if you don't believe there is a god, encouraging others to worship the non-existent god won't make anything safer, because there's still no protector up there when the others pray, either.

Face it, we can only hope Louis is the next face of the tea party and theism. He couldn't organize a two car funeral if you spotted him the hearse. Much better than letting his supporters have competent leadership.
