you republican leaders disgust and sicken me for attacking Joe Grimaud because of his residency. The US constitution gave him the right to run for the 3rd congressional seat although he lives in the 2nd district. Did not matter to me and most of the other voters in Aiken which to me makes us more patriotic than the these socalled republican leaders. It makes me feel as if I should vote democratic at the way you behave, which is entirely unethical.

One more thing, all of you Republican leaders in the upper state, make me ashamed to say that I live in the 3rd congressional district at the way you all have behaved. Joe Grimaud has more class and character than any of you guys and your candidates.

Yeah, Joe has such great character, he chained off the parking lot at his furniture store in Chapin to stop the patrons of the restaurant next door from parking there - at night when he's closed - because the restaurant owner refused to pay him for the use of the parking lot!!! I wouldn't vote for him for garbage collector! If you don't believe me, pay a visit to Chapin Furniture sometime but please don't buy anything!

As it were, the patrons of the restaurant were often leaving their beer bottles and garbage in Joe's parking lot. Their kids were found jumping on top of his company's vehicles, and he even had windows broken out of one of his buildings. What would often happen is the parents would go in, start drinking, and leave their youth unattended outside. Joe asked for rent of the space being used by the restaurant on his property in an attempt to help cover repair expenses and his taxes. The owners of the restaurant said, "No thanks." I think if this had happened with your neighbors at the house you live in, you would have put up a fence too!
