Fees increasing at state parks in NY

It always seems to be the answer with NYS goverment...Raise fees. Does it ever end?

UM, You do realize that there will be FEWER out of state visitors for this VERY reason.

No one likes paying more, but its better than closing the parks. And guess what? Fees go up; its called inflation. Yes some people might not go because of the increased rates but others still will and the parks are still available to be enjoyed.

We should charge NYC and Long Island residents triple. We don't consider them NY residents.

For every dollar the state spends on state parks it returns $5 back into the economy...a much better investment than the more than one Billion the state gave to AMD to create 1000 jobs,(they still want more money)

My Garbage fee alone has gone up 2/3 this year, my taxes have gone up, every little fee has gone up.

Most of the people I have gone to school with left the state...and they are doing far better than the ones that stayed.

It will only get worse in this state...and fast.
