Luckily the police didn't cause someone else to be killed due to their actions. This was a known person who didn't warrant being pursued by police in a high speed chase. They could have found her later when she was not in possession of a vehicle and simply arrested her. Read the article below. 40% of police chases end in crashes. Innocent bystanders are killed all the time.

Don't allow police to conduct high speed chases in Vermont.

This no police chases in bunk. Basically you're telling criminals to run, we'll let you go. Police should pursue when the opportunity presents itself. Letting criminals flee and simply hoping to find them later is totally irresponsible. Any damage, injury or death that results from a police chase is on no one other than the individual that chose to run and they should be charged accordingly. Let police do their job.

So they had to chase her why? They knew who she was - right? She didn't kill or kidnap anyone - no one in danger. So why put the road in danger? I just don't get the cops need to chase a car or motorcycle? It must be ego!

No one was in danger? Ask the guy who was threatened with a knife by her how he feels about that statement?! Let's be real; SHE created the dangerous situation, not the Police. Looks like she got exactly what was coming to her and now she can sit in jail and think about it. Don't believe in high speed chases, then pull over when the Police turn on the sirens and lights!

Unbutton your pants and relax Marky, you don't have to worry about this in Wooford. They don't give you a police car and all you can do is throw rocks as they drive by! I hear next year they might get a bicycle for you, now that would be a sight.......
