Because the Senators and Congressmen get huge amount of money from Jewish donors and understand that any criticism of Israel will cause the media, which is largely owned by members of the Lobby, to target these politicians, they chose to support Israel at the expense of the US interest.

Greg Allen, I completely agree with you. According to members of the Jewish Lobby, we should support Israel even if it results in terrorist attacks against Americans. They want us to support Israel regardless of the huge cost to America.

America gives Israel approximately $3.2 billion per year in aid even though Israel is a rich country with per capita income approaching Western European countries. Why do politicians in our country give so much money each year to Israel? It is not because of the Jewish vote. The Jewish vote is a joke and is in insignificant. Jews are less than 2% of US population. The reason politicans pay the money to Israel is because most of the campaign donations come from wealthy Jewish donors and the media (TV networks, newspapers, radio stations) is mostly owned by jews. So, they are terrified of the Jewish lobby. So, while terrorist Bin Laden announced many times that US support for Israel was one of the main reasons for attacking us on 9/11, the jewish controlled media keeps on repeating that Moslems attacked us because "they hate our freedom." Sure! Moslem kids tell their moms everyday, hey Mom, I want to be a suicide bomber because I hate America's bill of rights! Our shameless Congress in the pocket of the jewish lobby and we are powerless to do anything.

a large part of this is due the the stranglehold that the zionists have on the US media. as an american, we must read the news from other countries to get the real story. it is interesting to read the same story in a domestic paper and then read it on BBC or in a german,canadian, or french paper. they appear to be totally different stories.

Israel is not vital to our interest. Israel is a huge liability. Support for Israel has resulted in the attacks on 9/11 and loss of 3000 Americans. Also, the Zionist Lobby (Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowotz, Douglas Feith, Bill Kristol, Adelman, Ledeen, and other parasites) pushed America into this war in Iraq for the benefit of Israel. The Iraq war has cost more than 4000 American lives, while these parasites are making money appearing on the TV and telling us what's good for America.

there was a man in ramallah circa 1950. he was a journalist for a palestinian paper. one day he wrote a column critical of israel. the column did not promote violence, it was a factual, correct criticism.
the very next day he had an IDF gun to his head telling him that he had 48 hrs to leave the country for good.
this is still the way that israel handles the press coming from the region. take the reuters camera man that they killed a few weeks ago.same story.

Zionist Lobby has become so powerful that it feels free to attack and smear anyone in America. Consider the case of Jimmy Carter who wrote a book pointing out some facts about Israel's occupation of Palestinian land, which are also are printed in Israeli newspapers frequently. The Zionist lobby attacked him viciously, calling him an anti-semite, etc. Even though Jimmy Carter was probably the most honest and decent President we have had in this century (so honest and kind in fact that he was a poor politician), because Carter told the truth about Israel, the lobby tried to smear him. Now look at how much the Zionist Lobby loves Bill and Hillary Clinton, two of the most corrupt, lying, shameless, scums.
