So she's going to offer a better menu selection to the fat Greenwich slobs that are too lazy to travel 3 exits on 95 to go to her Stamford location?
Fine, I say boycott the Stamford bistro. You know, the one that allowed her to prosper and expand.
What a slap in the face. Shut it down!
No lamb chops, no peace!

Why does this restaurant addition become more "upscale" because it's located in Greenwich? They already have turned Greenwich Avenue into Rodeo Drive East, so I guess another expensive restaurant in town which can only be frequented by those "select, elite few" will enjoy it. The whole town is getting waaaaay out of hand and one of these days, it's all gonna come crashing down. Hope I'm around to hear about it so I can snicker.

A question to the 3 people who made comments, have you ever tried Myrna's Bistro at all? Myrna's food is authentic and is very flavorful. Here is a young woman trying to make her way in life and provide for her family by opening a restaurant and all you people want to do is ridicule her for it. I really don't think that is fair nor polite. You should wish her well. I hope that God punishes all of your for sharp tongues.

Yeah! We all love Myrna's at my office in Stamford. Glad she is expanding! Much luck to you!

What in God's name is the matter with you people?!
Myrna is wonderful, a great business woman and the food is phenomenal! If you don't want to pay the Greenwich prices, or "deal" with the Greenwich clientele, then stay the hell out of the area. Congratulations to her for being saavy enough to open a new restaurant and make both of them work in an economy like this. I agree with Lisa, everyone should wish her well.

Gee Lisa, if God punishes everyone who expresses an opinion we would all be punished constantly. No one is ridiculing her.
I think her food is bland and tasteless. Glad YOU like it. YOU go eat there and I will go to Falafel Inn. Mkay?

I ate at Myrna's last night with my wife and it was horrible. Almost uneatable. I was very much looking forward to Mediterranean cuisine and it was very bland and unimaginative. I never went to the Stamford location and heard good things about it. If they don't change the food drastically they will be out of business in months.

I usually order takeout from Myrna's and I like the food very much. Previously I used to order from the Stamford location since it was the only option, but recently I ordered from the Greenwich location which is closer to my house. I was shocked to discover the bill - a 33% price premium on all menu items for offering nothing extra as far as taste or quantity - are you kidding me? Matter of fact, the quantity was smaller in Greenwich - but they put a tomato slice on top to make it look nice. Definetely not worth it. How much can you charge for hummus and falafel anyway?

I guess I'll be ordering takeout from the Stamford location and have them deliver it.

She had to charge more in G'ch - she paid big bucks to fix up the space plus the rent is more. So get essentially the same food at lower prices (and with better parking) in Stamfo.

Just ate lunch there today with some friends. The decor is beautiful -- a different atmosphere than Stamford, which has more of a corner shop feel. The food was delicious and the servings were really generous. I am going again soon, maybe on a Saturday night when they have the belly dancer. Can't wait.

I HAVE BEEN TO STAMFORD AND GREENWICH _ I HAVE TO AGREE _ THE FOOD IN STAMFORD IS MUCH MORE REASONABLY PRICED AND IT WAS HER FLAGSHIP RESTAURANT (WHICH IN MY BOOKS WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST)AND ALSO IS THE BEST IN FLAVOR. GREENWICH MENU NEEDS WORK! AND THE TASTE / SELECTION NEEDS TO BE EMBELLISHED UPON...FOR GREENWICH, CT CLIENTELE - IF SHE DOESNT DO THIS - SHE WILL LOSE THE INTEREST OF THE LIL SNOBBIES THERE REALLY QUICKLY - AND SHE IS FROM BYRAM ORIGINALLY - NOT REALLY GREENWICH AS WE KNOW!!! JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT!- PARDON THE CLICHE :)

oh i don't think so...how misguided we are at times. It's the content that counts, NOT what case letters it's written in. Again, NOBODY cares.(Watch the comments come in now!! I do, I do, I do. Oh please.)
