not only once but twice :O
well, how nice that preditors get their second chance at life. i wonder, what about the victims, which will never be the same. the most intimate aspects of their lives are destroyed forever. they will never know peace..... what the hell is goin on here?!?!?!?!?! |

Ya know, this person is only classified as a sex offender because at the age of 18 he had sex with a 17 year old! Not all offenders are molesters and rapists, though most probably are. I do know this person myself..Just thought i'd let you know.

Desirae...though i am sure that this person told you that was the story...that is not what the article says. It says that they were 13 and 15, and he was 19. Though some may not see that as a big difference it really is in matter of maturity and legal standards. What can a 19 year old have in common with either of them. Not to mention they are not even able of giving consent at that age....they are babies trying to grow up to quickly.....those girls will have scars for life and their childhood taken away.....I guess the way i feel is that it is a great shame that people go to jail longer for the little things than they do for the big ones....Hopefully he straightened out while incarcerated or it will be the legal system at fault for the next victim.

Yeah he definately straigtened out and its not just what he told me, its what I know. He was formally charged at 19, thats why it says 19, and as far as the girls go, like you said they try to grow up too fast, in ways such as lying about their age as well. I'm not saying he wasn't wrong, i'm sure he knew they were under 18, but at the same time, they were willing, and he has done his time, and is an active member of society now. The girls admitted to giving consent, that why he wasn't charged with rape, because it wasn't. So eventhough he was still wrong then we also have to look at the parenting these girls were receiving. If their parents were really doing their job, these girls would've known better. I am happy to also be an advocate for rape victims as I was one myself, so when it comes down to things like this, I definately look into each case thoroughly. Not all girls that have sex at a young age are victims of anything more than being under age. The first girl it happened with he was only 17 when ut happened, the second he was 18 but he only got county time bcause she admitted to lying about her age. So, anyway, he did his time, his not proud of what happened, and he has become an important part of our society either way, he's a loving man to me and to his family.

1 I give u kudos! It takes a strong person to admit what they did was wrong. I have 2 friends who got into trouble for the same thing you did and the same circumstances. They are not bad people just made some stupid mistakes. I would trust both of these people to take care of my little girl without hesitation. I'm glad that you stated not only are the girls involved victims but your family is too, because it took 2 to tango and the girls should be held just as responsible!! Keep up the great work, and hopefully everyone can find the forgivness for the things that have been done! I don't know you but I will keep you in my prayers and I wish you the best of luck in the future! |

in response to Nicole.
I just wanted to say thank you for your understanding of my boyfriends situation. He has done alot of growing, and most of it done behind bars. He's not that stupid kid anymore, but a very loving, kind and gentlemanly type. I do come to his defense when needed, because I understand the circumstances under which this happened. I love him very much. Many people care about and love him dearly. He knows that he may continue to feel heat for this forever, and also that for me, being with him now means, I too will take heat, but like he said in his post, I am very understanding. Nobody is perfect. Again Nicole, I thank you. I would like to keep in touch with you if possible. I don't care who sees this. Please feel free to email me anytime @ desiraepriest@yahoo.com. Thanx Nicole! Desirae~ |
