Story above notes person who started the reward has agreed to stop taking donations, but will leave the award at $25,000 in the hopes it will help lead to the killer. The family will receive the proceeds of the separate memorial fund, which is also being closed.

The family said apparently too many people were capitalizing on the reward fund for their own benefit and it was too much for them to handle.

You should have solved it then clown. Or were you too busy selling drugs, flipping burgers or mowing someones lawn. Let the trained do their job. And you keep getting minimum wage. Deal?

Family members of a murdered Greenville teenager say they have been quiet and patient, even as they have grown frustrated concerning the lack of information released on the status of the case
