Fannin authorities search for missing man

Fannin County authorities are investigating a report of a missing man whose vehicle was found abandoned this week.

I really am hopeful that they find Jack, he is a dear freind of mine and I sure hope there has been no harm done to him. He is a very genuine man and absolutly is a wonderful family man, my thoughts are with the family that they will find out where Jack is. Love, Serenity

Why is the family and some friends are the only ones that seem to be searching for him. Where are the authorities in this. He has been gone for almost a week, that is just not normal.I wish the family some answers for their own piece of mind.

To Worried in PA: This is a small town and from what I have read in the papers that apparently the Sherriff's Office is the one that put the search together. What I am worried about is knowing Jack and his relationship with his children, family and friends he does not just disappear to not be heard from for days. This is what is so unusual about him, it is not his behavior at all! Please pray for him and that he has a safe return home to his family.

when i watched channel 12 news the other night they told what he was wearing and description ,but did not even show a picture of him. what a bunch of morons.

To "just me", his picture was on the original news story, not sure which night you saw it. It should still be on their website.

To "Worried in PA", there were quite a few authorities and volunteers involved in a search for him over the weekend, including a search by air.

Lots of rumors flying around town about this case.

I think they are coordinating another search this Saturday. Whoever can should join and see if they can turn something up for his family who I know are in great pain.

I hope it is inncorrect as well. Jack has been a good man to me and my family. They don't make them like Jack anymore.
