Hartsville, SC/Property in Ohio

Ms. Ridey requested that our firm close a property in Hartsville, SC for a property located in Ohio. I explained to her that this closing requires a SC attorney.

I informed her that it is a felony in SC to close an out-of-state property in SC with a notary.

Thereafter, she pulled the assignment from us and refused to provide any details regarding the closing.

I recommend a serious investigation of notaries serving the Hartsville area and Nations Signature Closers to assure that everyone is in full compliance with South Carolina law.

Let's protect the public and not allow anyone to flout the law for economic gain! If you have information on these matters, pleas inform the State Bar of South Carolina.

First of all, do you even have the language skills to say what you mean?

And do you have a cite for that felony law you're ranting about?

Signatories to a deed for Ohio real property transferred in Ohio need only be witnessed and acknowledged by a notary or notaries if the signatories are in South Carolina. The situs of the "closing" is in Ohio. Or is this a trade of Ohio property for South Carolina property? You're about as clear as mud, and just as bright.

You SC lawyers are the rottenest pack of avaricious money-grubbers I have ever seen. You are corrupt from the bottom to the very top, from the country lawyers in every town and village all the way up to your supreme court putrid with the foul smell of corruption.

Do your own research! Call the State Bar of South Carolina....

You do not know what you are writing about.... Your overcharged, hyperbolic insults suggest that your toes are in a vice of sorts and your financial pocketbook is being pinched in some way! I don't have a dog in the fight, so let it rip! Hmmmmm.

Alleging such hurtful allegations to disparage an entire class of professionals with a broad brush is nothing new, but take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself, "What would Jesus do?"
