Doubtful.

Unfortunately any children you are at a greater risk of being a racist sexist anti-Semitic homophobic anti-adoption bigot, just like dear old da.

Still waiting for you to explain your accusations. Oh, right, you can't. You can't be in my club either.

You waited a year or two to marry? Whenever it was that you married, that's when you created a new family. When you had children later, your family simply became larger.

That makes about as much sense as when Christians say "It's not God that sends you to hell, it's your choice to go."

If it's up to me, then I say two married people make a family, and that's the club I'll be in once I marry. There isn't really anything you can do about it.

But since there isn't really any "club" of families, with no benefits, no rights or responsibilities assigned, no legal definition, no dues, and no expulsion policy, it doesn't really matter. It's really just an imagined club, that anyone can "join", or decide that they are a "member", and other "members" can't really object.

I mean really, if you tell me that my partner and I aren't in "your club", what does that even mean? Are there club benefits we'll be missing out on? We won't get our entry packet and jacket patches? We'll be denied the newsletter?

There is no "club", family is just a word, that each family must define for themselves. You aren't actually denying anyone anything, by telling them they aren't in your club. You have nothing to deny, nothing to leverage with. All you're doing is defining who you don't want to share society with as equals.

Ah, the exclusionist mindset which originates ALL these problems. The idea that some people are the OWNERS of the "club" of marriage or family, and that they are the arbiters of who may enter.
My partner and I have set our date for next May. We'll be in your club in 7 months. There is little you can do about that.
Congrats and much happiness!

Legal definition of family: "Family" means the spouse, parent, grandparent, stepmother, stepfather, child, grandchild, brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, adopted child of parent, or spouse's parent of an injured party.

I bet your parents regret the day they decided to start a family.

To hell with all the biblical posturing. I am gay. I don't care why, and I sure don't care what anybody else thinks about it. I am 76 and have been happily queer all my life - and most christians are just stupid IMHO...

I have absolutely no desire to be in your racist sexist anti-Semitic homophobic anti-adoption club.

None whatsoever.

You finally admitted in a previous post that you are anti-gay; now you attempt to backpedal.

We all know the truth; your bigotry is evident in every post you make.

Your whole "life" revolves around following ME from forum to forum. That's your whole existence. You change names and servers, but not the content of your posts. For 3 years you have been fixated on ME. LOLSER! I'm lovin' it.
