Zack lives out there in an old rusty singlewide trailer with no electricity or running water. He lights it with Kerosene lamps and brings water up from the creek so he can flush his commode. He pays $2 for a shower once a week at the truck stop over on the Interstate. I don't know what he is going to do this winter for heat. When I asked him about it he said he is designing a brick fireplace that will be connected to the trailer somehow.

He gets a government check every month and he has a post office box in Simpsonville where he picks up his mail. He gets around on a bicycle or by walking. When he gets his check he buys groceries and puts most of what is left in the bank. He says he is saving for vacation.

His ex wife and kids have been looking for him. he says he doesn't want to see them. He writes to his youngest daughter sometimes but she is the only one he will have anything to do with. She has tried to get him to move to Easley and offered to help him get in a nicer place but so far he has politely said no.

I know a black dude name Zack that is 27 y.o. who live on old Welcome Road. He got syphilis from a ho in Columbia and he is being tested for AIDS. He use to chew Redman and drink Schlitz 40 ounces but he likes to dip now and drink Miller Lite.

Zack stole some dip from me. He likes Copenhagen but in a pinch he will dip anything. He use to like them Skoal Bandits. You know them little cloth packs filled with Skoal that you put between your lips and gums in the front of your mouth. They are bad to stain your teeth brown in the front. Myself I like to dip Tube Rose and put a toothpick in my mouth to stir up the dip with while I'm working. When he tried it Zack would chew up the toothpick into splinters and stick himself in the tongue. He would get to spitting trying to get shed of the splinters and swallow some of his dip. Course then he would commence to coughing and get choked, turn green and finally throw up all over his floor.
